This was my first food tour and it was a fantastic experience. I happened to be the only person who signed up on the day I went, so I got my very own private tour with the lovely Josette. She was super knowledgable about the local geographic, architectural, and of course, culinary history and shared her vast knowledge and expertise through stories, which made it really fun to learn from her while eating many delicious things. She’s the kind of person who you meet and feel like you’ve known forever. Highly recommend taking this tour with Jos!

After a recommendation from a friend, we decided to book our own tour during our visit to CDMX. The tour was excellent as it was filled with a fun variety of food stops throughout Mexico’s historic district. Our tour guide, Jimena, was a local who educated us not only on the food and drinks we enjoyed, but also on this area of Mexico City. She was a true delight and definitely raised my rating to a 5! Can’t recommend enough.

Wonderful tour that will animate all your senses

This was an excellent way to start learning about the Centro Histórico. Joss was a wonderful host, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Mexican cuisine and culture. We sampled a diverse array of food and drinks, checked out some fascinating venues including a market and enjoyed meeting others on the tour. There were ample stops to sit and enjoy a particular dish away from the crowds which was also nice. My teenaged son loved it too. I highly recommend this tour!

Loved this! Our guide, Camilla, was delightful and excellent - not just knowledgeable about the food, but the foods', restaurants' and cooks' histories and cultural significance. The food choices were delicious and varied, and each place had unique charm. A great way to get thoroughly introduced to a specific Mexico City neighborhood!
