A Beautiful afternoon in Colonia Roma.
What a nice day we had with our food guide Natalie. We made 6 delicious stops and walked around Colonia Roma for most of an afternoon. We were so stuffed with all the great food and varied food choices we skipped dinner. Natalie also spoke about the history of the area and all the beautiful buildings we passed. Can’t wait to return to Mexico City to do a different food tour with this company.

Our Saboes Mexico food tour was fantastic. Tamara Gomez was our guide for 5 superb hours aounnd Historic Mexico City. Tammy had interesting anecdotes about many interesting buildings like those which are sinking due to the soft post volcanic substrata. We tasted at least 20 different dishes and numerous beverages at 6 locations. We didn't need anything else to eat that day. We now plan to try and duplicate the Mexican shrimp soup, one of many unique tastes on our tour.

This was an excellent tour. We absolutely recommend this. Our tour guide Johanna was amazing. She provided historical, cultural, architectural and food information. She was fun to be with and so engaging. Great experience and great value.

Absolutely a great time spent with SABORES HISTORIC CENTER FOOD TOURS. We got to a restaurant called Testal where we were met by Tamara. She was a delight to spend the day with! She was passionate and informative. We spent over 5 hrs enjoying the city she loves. And foodies will not be disappointed, we had enjoyable food all along the way with some real surprises. You’ll find yourself in places you never would have gotten to experience. A+ THANK YOU!

Centro Food Tour with Tamara far exceeds our expectations
The food tour far exceeded our expectations!! Tamara Gomez, our tour leader, is a fantastic, delightful story teller. We loved her additional comments about history. We highly recommend Tamara(Tammy) and the Centro Food Tour to anyone visiting Mexico City. We were quite full after having many stops with a variety of delicious Mexican offerings.

Camilla provided an amazing tour of Mexican eateries in the Roma neighborhood. She was informative about the food and its history. The food itself was also amazing - different from the standard Mexican fare and from eateries tourists unlikely would find on their own.

Had a really fun tour with the very impressive Natalie. Enjoyed the variety of food and the information Natalie shared about the history of Roma Norte. Very interesting flavours of foods that I wouldn’t normally have ordered but was happy that I sampled. Would suggest that for future tours you have at least one traditional tacos al pastor or baja tacos for those who want the typical gluttonous dish. Otherwise was really great day.

This was a fun and informative tour. Natalie was a 5 star host! Attentive to details and keeping us on track. We tried many different items that I wouldn’t have tried on my own. Native drinks and food. All were of exceptional taste and quality. Of note, don’t take this tour if you are only looking for tacos.
