Alma and Nathalia were really knowledgeable tour guides, and made the experience really special. We tried so many different tacos I actually couldn’t finish the last one, and the variety was fantastic. We also loved the Mezcal place - Alma’s knowledge on Mezcal is really impressive and the drinks were delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Good gluten free experience
This tour was the highlight of my time in Mexico City. Jimena was an exceptional tour guide: she provided cultural and historical context for several significant landmarks we passed in the city, she could explain the origin story of every establishment we ate at, and she gave a clear explanation of all of the dishes we sampled. I especially appreciated that Jimena made sure that I didn’t eat any gluten - I’m gluten intolerant, and had something good to eat at every stop regardless. I can’t speak to how safe it would be for Celiacs or a gluten allergy. This tour was the perfect mix of eating, sightseeing, and learning.

We had a great time with the owner and the translator/guide who assisted. The owner’s English was fine80-90% of the time. It would have been wonderful even if we did not understand everything. Great Chocolate and great things to combine with it. We highly recommend it

We had an amazing time on our food tour in La Roma! Alma was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and SO great with our two kids! She kept us all engaged and entertained (no small task with my 5 year old who wasn’t interested in eating anything but churros…) and we had the most delicious food, from modern Mexican fine dining to precolumbian cuisine to amazing vegan tacos, dessert, and both traditional and modern Mexican coffee and hot chocolate. At the end of our trip, both kids said the food tour was a highlight and I agree!

I wouldn’t recommend
My flight was delayed and the rental car location also delayed me. I arrived to the meeting location late and couldn’t find parking . I paid for everything in advance and they wouldn’t let me reschedule for the following day. $110 dollars wasted . I would not suggest this tour solely based off of uncontrollable circumstances for foreigners. I don’t think it would have been an inconvenience for them to allow me to attend the following event but they didn’t. The return and rescheduling policy should definitely be modified

An amazing food tour and afternoon
We had an amazing time on our food tour in La Roma! Alma was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and SO great with our two kids! Excellent guide, just too long
Our guide was fantastic. Tons of historical and cultural information alongside the food! I loved the tour but felt like 5 hours is just too long to be eating and walking. Three hours would have been perfect. There’s only so much you can eat! We were exhausted by the end. About half the food was great. The seafood ceviche stand was amazing. Towards the end the penultimate stop is at a place that blasts music so loud and by then we really had had enough. Guide was excellent. Just too much.

Fantastic!!
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great attitude and had a lot of passion for her job. She was also an architect major so she explained a lot about all the local architecture! She was very friendly, hospitable, and welcoming, and I would definitely do this again and recommend to others! They even went above and beyond since it was a couple of our birthdays and they had a nice cake brought to us!!

The tour took us to restaurants and places I would otherwise not have visited. Everything was great - we learned a bit about Mexico while tasting very delicious dishes and drinks. Our guide, Natalie, was awesome, too.

But the mole tostada? Unreal. The rich, complex layers of flavor in that one dish alone made my day. It was the perfect balance of tradition, spice, and soul, and I would go back just for that. Beyond the food, this tour was made even more special by my fantastic guide, Kiomi. She was knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly patient, sharing fascinating insights about Coyoacán’s history, culture, and quirks. Whether pointing out hidden gems, explaining the significance of certain landmarks, or simply making sure I was having a great time, she truly elevated the experience. Shoutout to Kiomi for sharing this experience with me- truly unforgettable. Coyoacán itself is a sensory delight—bustling markets, stunning street art, lively plazas, and the warmth of the people make it one of the most charming neighborhoods in CDMX. If you’re thinking about doing this tour, come hungry because you’ll be eating a lot—and every single bite is worth it. I didn’t take a lot of pictures because I was trying to live in the moment but I was able to capture a handful! I’d 100% do this again with friends or family. It’s the perfect mix of food, culture, and adventure. If you’re visiting Mexico City, do yourself a favor and book this tour. 10/10 experience!
