Joss was a delightful guide and companion for an in-depth tour of the food culture of Coyoacán. She was very careful to make sure I didn’t eat any gluten, and provided the origin story for every restaurant and landmark. Thanks for the tasty food tour!

Our guide Kioma was very knowledgeable and friendly. We made the mistake of eating breakfast, so the amount of food was too much! But we really did get a good tour into Mexico food. It’s a long tour, so be prepared!

We had the best time on the Coyoacan food tour. It was our 1st full day in the area and absolutely perfect to help us get to know the neighborhood and our food spots. Jos was very knowledgeable of the community and so proud of sharing Coyoacan with visitors. She’s warm, funny and welcoming. Plus she had many recommendations for local stops. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting CDMX!

Great food tour in colonia Roma
Our tour was fantastic. My husband, our son & I enjoyed every minute. Our tour guide was terrific. As we walked between stops she showed us places of historical and cultural significance and she is very knowledgeable about the food scene in the Roma neighborhood. And the food. The food was superb! (As were the beverages. ) We had a variety of foods each with a different emphasis. The proprietors were welcoming and attentive. What a great way to spend an afternoon.

We really enjoyed the Historic Center tour - a great mix of (tons) of food and history, and our guide Dana was the best. Definitely recommend it as a great way to explore that neighborhood of CDMX.

Elba was a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide. She not only knew about food but educated us on the history of Mexico with special reference to the architecture during the different periods of Mexico. The restaurants she took us to were very unique, ones that we would not have discovered if not for her. Our taste of Mexican food was limited to the fast food of America. On this tour we got to taste various Mexican foods , both healthy ,tasty and very authentic. We definitely recommend this tour 100 percent for a unique experience.

I would take this tour again and again, and want to do their other food tours, too, especially with JIMENA.
"Historic Center Food Tour in Mexico City", Feb. 24th, noon to 5pm. Every cafe, food stall, street stand, restaurant and dulceria I would return again. Especially "Testal" diner (starting point), "El Caguamo" seafood tostados street stand (they boil their ceviche before marinating in citrus so super safe and most tender octopus I've ever had), and restaurant "El Bajío", the Simón Bolivar location. But not just these, the whole tour was really great, I'd do it again and try their other tours, too. My retired friends were real troopers, game to anything, and the 20-something and 30-something others on tour were ALOT of fun and very interesting. We became fast friends. Our guide JIMENA was the best. We visited a cool library, too, (I had no idea was there though I've visited CDMX many times), and an amazing food market I also didn’t know about with a food stall certified to serve exotic meats, amazing. Gluten-free and other dietary needs were accomadated by Jimena at every stop. In the food market it seemed like EVERY vendor knew her and warmly greeted Jimena, even at the stalls we didn't visit. She grew up and lives in Mexico City so a real local. The amount of walking was perfect between stops and learned alot along the way. Though 5 hours, the time flew by.
