Bring a big appetite!
Bring a massive appetite because this trip involves a LOT of eating. Joss is the highlight of this experience - she adds a lot of history and information to various parts of CDMX. I thought they were exaggerating when they said the tour runs for five hours.- nope. It’s true!

Delicious Way to Spend Time in Mexico City
Wow, this was a highlight of our time in Mexico City. Great food and company, and our guide, Tania, was fantastic. Come very hungry; we skipped breakfast but were still absolutely stuffed. You will try all sorts of wonderful and new things.

Great tour. Transport logistics had been thought about to take in some top places without having problems getting between them - the minivan was smooth and efficient. The guide (Montse) was funny, professional and knowledgeable in equal measure, taking care to carefully introduce each item or part of the evening. The evening was safe, fun and educational - and I was full by the end of it. Thanks!

You will taste a nice variety of delicious and interesting regional foods and drinks, and if you eat all that's placed in front of you, you probably won't eat again until breakfast the next day! The market we visited was fascinating. Our guide was Joss, and she was informative not only about the foods and drinks but also about the places we walked past. She was professional, enthusiastic and charming. Take this food tour, and ask for Joss.

Arrive Hungry!
Jimena was our guide, and we really enjoyed her tour. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, fun and lively. She was considerate and did a good job of looking after us. Tour was great. Although we have travelled to delicious Mexico many times, we were introduced to foods we had never experienced before- gourmet, exotic and traditional including street food. We visited the bustling historic San Juan Mercado and many other interesting venues- a president’s home, a cantina almost a hundred years old, street stalls , etc. We highly recommend this tour and hope you have Jimena as your guide. It was really fun! Arrive hungry!

Really enjoyed our taco tour with Monsa. She was a lot of fun and we got to try places we’d never otherwise find. It’s a lot of food too so a great value and you get to skip all the lines. Highly recommend!

Daniela was an excellent guide— patient and accommodating. She toured us through the Roma Norte neighborhood stopping at points of interest for brief comments and history lessons. She was conversational and very friendly. It’s clear she enjoys her job— which was refreshing. Each restaurant we visited was different in its regional offerings and style. And everything we sampled (including beverages) was great, as other commenters previously mentioned. You’ll leave stuffed and probably won’t need to eat again (tour wrapped about 4pm). Wear comfortable shoes and skip breakfast if you can. It’s definitely a tour worth booking!

Fantastic Tour. Such a great overview of the Historical center of Mexico City plus amazing food. Tania was a wonderful guide that had so much food/ cultural knowledge plus historical knowledge as well. I left the tour throughly happy and full.

What a wonderful food tour of Mexico City’s historic center. It was a long one as well. We visited some lovely restaurants and food establishments while also learning about historical sites within the historic center. Tania was absolutely fantastic, she knew not only about all the food she was also a wealth of knowledge on the sites. She has such a great demeanour and very engaging. She was always making sure we’re happy and full. There was a good variety of food on the tour and it was all delicious.

This taco tour in CDMX was absolutely incredible. We hit a bunch of local spots I never would’ve found on my own, and every single taco was better than the last. Our guide Monse was awesome, knew tons about the food, neighborhoods and history. She made the whole thing feel like exploring the city with a friend. We walked, we ate, we laughed, and I left completely stuffed and happy. 10/10 would do it again—don’t miss this if you’re in Mexico City!
