Fantastic Taco & Mezcal Tour. Monse is a gracious and knowledgeable host who exudes passion for the city and its food. We ate 9 tacos (pace yourself!), sampled 3 mezcals + a mezcal cocktail, and even stopped for a couple city sights. Absolutely delightful experience. Highly recommend.

I signed up for a group tour but as luck would have it, I was the only one who had. Even luckier was being guided by Jimena. She was an amazing tour guide with so much knowledge and patience with all my questions. I learned so much as she shared the city’s history and the significance of the foods I tried and the establishments we visited. I consider myself a foodie but I had fruits, dishes, and sauces I never knew existed. All-in-all I could not recommend Sabores Mexican Food Tours and Jimena enough! Look no further. Come very hungry. Request Jimena. This is your tour.

A Fantastic Experience
We were wondering what to do with the couple days we had to spare in Mexico City before traveling to Oaxaca, and we never imagined how much we would love this experience! Food was great and it was so much that we decided to cancel dinner reservations. Tammy, our host, was just the best, she reallly knows her stuff! 100% recommend.

Very enjoyable. Tamara did a great job as the tour guide. You can tell they out a lot of work into this tour. You could tell she has a lot of pride in the culture and history. We were taken to great spots we never would have gone too on our own. Highly recommend

Our tour was excellent. It was a great mix of traditional Mexican tacos, tacos from Northern & Southern regions, and more fusion style tacos. The guide also gave a great tour of the city and pointed out her favorite spots. She was very knowledgeable about the city and the food. Only thing to be aware of is the traffic during the time of your tour.

We had a terrific time on our food tour with Elba! She took us to many interesting spots, sharing great info along the way about the food and neighborhood. Highly recommend!

We did the Roma walking tour with Elba and it was excellent. She was a fun guide (although jokingly a bad Mexican for not liking spicy food) and gave us a lot of contextual history during the tour. I could hardly finish all of the food because I was so stuffed by the end. Overall a great experience while in Mexico City.
