Interesting & fun food tour.

Ximena was a super guide..young and vibrant…She made the tour fun and interesting. All the food tastings were delicious and it was a great way to start our trip in Mexico City as we could go back to some of the locations a second time! If you enjoy learning about the food culture in Mexico this tour is a must.

Delightful trip from start (shrimp tostadas) to finish (amazing horchata and Japanese filtered coffee) with endless delicacies in between. Camille was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, open to questions and armed with interesting answers not only about the food but the architecture, restaurant proprietors and art along the way. Muy, muy bueno!

Our tour guide Jimena was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Each food stop had great offerings and they are adaptable to any food restriction you may have. A good mix of food and history. The tour length may seem long but the time really flew by and I’m glad to have booked

Poor Flexibility, No Refund, and Everyone Got Sick

We booked the Colonia Roma Food Tour with Sabores Mexico Food Tours and had a really disappointing experience. Unfortunately, our entire party got sick and we tried to reschedule the tour ahead of time. We were told flat-out no — no flexibility, no option to rebook, and no refund. They charged us 100% of the cost. I understand that companies have policies, but when a whole group is clearly unwell and gives advance notice, there should be some level of customer care or at least a credit for a future date. Instead, we got nothing. This was a total waste of money for us and left a bad impression. Would not recommend booking with this company unless you’re 100% sure nothing will go wrong — because they won’t work with you at all.

A very complete tour in the vibrant Coyoacán neighborhood. I left very full. Food was great and Josette is just the best! She’s very knowledgeable of the neighborhood, the restaurants and the specific dish history! I loved it!!!

At first I was worried I would be a little bored on this tour and was thinking I could just find food places myself but I am sooo glad I decided to do this. It was entertaining the entire time, we had a fantastic tour guide Kiomi - Her knowledge of food and history of where we were eating made it so enjoyable and entertaining. There is no way I would have found these food places without her guidance. It is a great way to meet other people as well. The food was fantastic and you are treated very well when you are at each food location with the food tour. 10/10 recommend

We had a great time with Kiomi as our tour guide. All the tastings we tried were so delicious and the walk around the historical center while she described the history of buildings was nice. We were so full at the end! We will definitely try another Sabores Mexico Food Tour again!

A great tour with a fantastic guide. We had several dishes from 5 different restaurants. Our guide was great. She was always checking on everyone makeing sure they were okay. All the food was delicious and I would recommend the tour for anyone. My one tip would be that you don't eat breakfast before the tour as they give you plenty of food.

The tour was even better than we had anticipated- so many tastes and great information from Tania. (Our only wish is that in a few places the music hadn’t been quite so loud - it was difficult for us all to hear).
