Monserrat is an outstanding guide. She is so knowledgeable, fun and engaging. The taco stops were all very different a delicious and the mezcal sampling was fun I highly recommend this tour .

We had a lovely day with Jimena, our foodie tour guide in Mexico City. She was personable, thoughtful, and very fun. She has a vast knowledge of the history, culture, and specifics of food. We loved the diversity of experiences ranging from the market, cantina, and even sweets shop. We really loved every moment and everything was delicious!!! It was a perfect introduction to the city!!

We had such a wonderful time on our food tour in the historical city center! Our guide, Tamara, was absolutely amazing — friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the city’s history and food culture. She introduced us to so many delicious local dishes we might never have discovered on our own, and shared fascinating stories along the way. She also helped us celebrate our first anniversary! It was the perfect mix of great food, culture, and sightseeing. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the real flavors and charm of Mexico City!

We got Joss as our tour guide and she was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the city. She was very welcoming and polite, would definitely recommend requesting her for your tour. We loved the food places and the food itself we tried.

Loved the Sabores Roma Food tour!

Had a great time with Sabores Roma Food tour. Camilla, our guide , was very sweet and knowledgeable about the food. We went to 6 locations …trying different authentically Mexican dishes….all very tasty! We also learned about the Roma neighborhood as we walked. I have some mobility issues and use walking sticks for balance and Camilla constantly let me know if there were hazards along the sidewalks… very considerate! Highly recommended!

Come for the mezcal, stay for the tacos!

Jonathan was really friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We had a great time. Hard to pick our favorite taco on the trip, they all were better than most.

Great food and great mezcal.

Excellent tour. I was running about 10 minutes late due to traffic and to be fair the guide waited for us. The tour was excellent and I was surprised with the amount of food. I thought it would be 1 taco per stop. Some were 2 tacos. I think 9 in total and the stop to the bar for the mezcal tasting was excellent. Highly recommend this tour. I would do it again. Very well organised.

This is a must-do in Mexico City

This is a great experience in Mexico City. If you are lucky enough to have Josie as your guide you will be entertained, informed and educated about Mexican cuisine. Come hungry! There are many tastings and many tastings in store. You will make eight stops, but each stop might have several dishes to try. You'll love them all. This is a highly recommended tour, which you will greatly enjoy, and be the highlight of your trip to Mexico.

Our tour was incredible! I loved exploring Roma, getting new suggestions for places to eat, and trying food I wouldn’t have found on my own. But the best part of this tour were the guides, Monse and Alma. Both answered tons of questions and provided a lot of context, gave hundreds of recommendations, and even got us a pan de muerto for our anniversary! They were incredible and really made the tour wonderful!!

Tacos and mezcal, no better combination. We tried tacos at five different places and had Mezcal tasting at one. This was definitely a great excursion. Come hungry, because you get nine tacos throughout the 3 1/2 hour tour. Definitely recommend.

Fun excursion

Tacos and Mezcal, no better combination! This excursion was well worth it. Our guide, Fernanda, was very knowledgeable, fun and energetic. We went to six places over 3 1/2 hours. All of the tacos were very delicious. We stopped and did mezcal tasting and got a lot of history from our guide on how it was made, etc. I would definitely recommend this excursion. Remember to come hungry!

An amazing tour. Kiomi and Angel were terrific guides. So much delicious food, including from so many places that we would never have stopped on our own. An outstanding way to experience Mexico City's culture and cuisine.

We had our food tour with Angel and he did an amazing job giving us the history of Mexico City. All of the food places we visited I think six places including the market all had delicious food. We would not found these places on our own. Must do this if it’s your first time to Mexico City

Great experience for foodies! And history buffs! Joanna was warm, friendly and engaging. As a solo traveler I felt included, it was a small group and definitely felt the VIP experience!! Great fun! Awesome food! Very educational (in a good way!)

Best food tour in CDMX

I did 3 food tours while visiting Mexico City and this one had by far the best food. My guide Jimena was interesting and knowledgeable about the neighborhood, had great advice on the remainder of my trip, and ensured I was very full and happy at the end of the tour. I highly recommend it! Especially if you plan on visiting the Frida Museum in the same neighborhood.
