I did ice fishing and it was soooo much fun. I have never fished before, but I did catch 2 that day. Cody was AWESOME!! He was knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The Reindeer sausage was yummy and the fish was fantastic. I totally recommend this place.

Fabulous musher experience through beautiful winter forest!

What a fabulous experience we had today at this dog sled experience! Our musher, Emma Lewis, was fantastic. We learned so much from her and her history of raising the dogs and homesteading in Alaska. We highly recommend her. And we look forward to coming back for another run.

Dog sledding fun!

The ride was so much fun! Joe and Lindsey were so friendly and answered all the questions we had about the dogs and the area. Since there were three of us, we were able to switch between the two sleds and each one of us got to experience riding solo, with the musher of course. The dogs were friendly and we were able to pet them. Overall a great experience! My friends and I would definitely do it again!

Bucket List BEST EVER Experience!!

Booking was very easy, cost was comparable and location was Absolutely Beautiful!! Emma, our Musher / driver was So Talented and friendly! Owner and Staff were truly personable - very accomodating - took Great care of our group! With only two of four of us riding- they still took time to allow our friend with mobility issues to go over, meet and greet the dog team and Mushers, get pics! This was a Bucket List item, and the staff here FOR SURE made this a BEST EVER experience!!!!

Fun dog sled ride with Luther

Discovered this business from a pamphlet and I’m so glad I did! My parents and I did the 30 min dog sled ride. We were able to schedule a little last minute, but the website was pretty easy to use. I rode with Luther and his wonderful sled team. Had a great ride, learned a lot about his dogs annd their personalities, and he took some excellent pictures of me and the dogs 🐕 Would recommend!

Vacation excursions in Alaska spent outdoors, as we envisioned and enjoyed.

Friendly family business with a knowledgeable and gracious crew that melded well, serving each group entering their doors. The wife and I did a dog sledding with Willow and her own dog team. Willow made the trek a joy. Knowledgeable and sharing on each dog, her adventure in Alaska (which started years ago in Steamboat Springs, CO), and cabin life. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we returned the next day to ride the snow machines. We highly recommend this guide service.

Great experience, great staff, so much fun!

Victoria was fantastic! She made sure that we were able to get in some great pictures, showed us the ice fishing and even got to see an eagle. She was very patient while my friend tried to get his drone working. Great efficient staff! Would highly recommend and if I’m ever in Fairbanks again, I will definitely be a returning customer!

North Pole Dog Sled

We had a great dog sled experience with Joe Weber as our guide. He was professional, fun, and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed meeting him and his dogs, the sledding experience, and our conversations about family, living in Alaska, and the Iditarod. I highly recommend Rod’s. The lodge and customer service by all the employees was exceptional!

We had an hour sled ride with Joe Weber and his beautiful dogs. The ride was fabulous, we got to meet the dogs, crossed the pipeline, went on small narrow trails and wider tracks. Joe answered all our many questions and we learned a lot about dog sledding in Alaska. The time went by too fast. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Incredible experience. Our guide, willow, gave us a very good explanation of what is means to own, care for, and work with sled dogs, while we were on the drive. We were on the first ride of the day, so the dogs were very excited to go! The dogs were so friendly, energetic, and cute!

My sister, daughter, son-in-law and I took the 30 minute dog sledding tour, which was wonderful! Perfect blend of interaction with the dogs, education on Moose 🫎 (real danger to dogs) and ride. We had three sleds with mushers Christine, Cooper and Laura. The love and care for the dogs was genuine.This tour is a great introduction to sledding and people can decide if they would like a longer one by this introduction.
