The glow worm caves were very beautiful and fascinating. Orlando was a great guide and very knowledgeable.

This was a fantastic experience! First you are taken from the RealNZ meeting point in Queenstown to their base camp 10 minutes away. Here you change into wetsuits and boots provided and leave your clothes and other belongings in cubbies and a separate locker for valuables. You pile back into the mini bus and are taken on an adventure up the river to the drop in point via Skippers Pass - an old gold mining road snaking along the sides of the mountains. It’s not for the faint of heart if you are afraid of heights! Once we arrived, we had a quick safety briefing and were on our way! The first half was intense than the second half of the 16k journey on the river, building from class 2 up to class 4+ rapids by the end. The paddling through the tunnel was super fun as was the big rapid right afterwards. Our guide, Fwas good fun and was great at keeping us safe while still having a lot of fun! Everyone was helpful and positive. Highly recommend!!!
