Our Te Anau boat cruise across the lake was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The journey began with a peaceful ride across the stunning Lake Te Anau, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and crisp, fresh air. The scenery alone was worth the trip, but what awaited us beyond the lake was truly magical. After docking, we ventured into the glowworm caves, a hidden world of wonder. Inside, we boarded a small boat that glided silently through the darkness, guided only by the soft glow of thousands of tiny lights above us. The glowworms sparkled like a starry night sky, creating an atmosphere that felt both surreal and peaceful. Along the way, we saw cascading underground waterfalls, their sound echoing beautifully through the cave. The combination of rushing water, cool cave air, and the mesmerizing glow made the entire experience feel otherworldly. The glowworms themselves were absolutely magical, delicate, beautiful, and breathtaking. It’s one of those rare experience
