The tour was amazing. Especially with Julio as our guide. He shared his personal experience growing up in madellin and the progress in went through and rhe differences from when he was younger to this day is absolutely amazing to hear. We really got to experience the city and it's people with a personal touch. I recommend doing this tour especially with Julio!

Definitely worth your time as a tourist. We walked all over (3km) central Medellín. These neighborhoods aren't your typical tourist attractions and are hard to navigate and understand on your own. The guide (Julio) provided history and personal context growing up here. I'm very happy I did this even after being here several days. I learned a lot.

Carolina was an excellent tour guide. As a local with a passion for economics and politics she gave brilliant background to the development of the city, it's people, and it's history. She also gave nuggets of local knowledge like where to get the best empenadas and local dishes. We really enjoyed the tour.

If you are doubting a bit about citytours, you really have to do this one. Our tourguide Dio was amazing- very knowledgeable, funny, sarcastic and real. Great lesson of history with a heart. He made the tour really personal talking about how the drug crime impacted his youth.

Lio was the best tour guide. It was so so good and interesting. Was 3.5 hours but felt Like one! Awesome. Would recommend it to everyonw who is staying in Medellin.
