Dio was an excellent guide and an amazing storyteller for our free tour of the city center. If you truly want the unfiltered, undiluted story of Medellin from the mouth of someone who grew up in it, this is the **local tour guide company** you’ll want to support. They’re also doing amazing work here in the community with their other tours as well. There are so many little things that showed Dio’s expertise from doing thousands of these tours — from the way he made sure we can sit or stand in the shade, that we’re sheltered from louder music or noise so we can fully hear everything being said, to the midway break for food and restrooms. As this is a FREE TOUR, make sure to show your appreciation for the 3.5h of information you’ll receive from your guide — I recommend you bring cash to tip since tipping on credit card will not give your guide the full amount. Truly a special experience to learn about the history for Medellin from a true local in excellent, expressive English. Will be spreading word about this tour company for sure.

A fascinating tour of central Medellín. Hernan was a great guide, showing and telling us about the real Medellín instead of just reeling off a list of dates and names. I feel I understand more now what Medellín is really like. And he kept us safe in what can unfortunately be a somewhat unsafe part of the city.
