Herman is een prettig vertellende gids. Je kon merken dat hij een leraar is geweest en kon hierdoor helder en duidelijk communiceren. Hij heeft veel verteld over het land zelf en over Medellin. Heel waardevol. Hij maakte goed duidelijk wanneer we moesten opletten op onze spullen. Echt een aanrader deze trip!

Outstanding tour!
This was an AMAZING tour! It exceeded our expectations. Our guide Julio touched on the biology, history and socio/economic aspects of cocaine along with its impact on countless victims. There are so many pieces in this tragic story and Julio did an outstanding job on bringing them together. We have done many walking tours over the years...this one was the best!

Amazing experience
Diana was honestly an amazing guide. She explained everything in a really detailed way but still made it easy to understand, and she took the time to answer every single question thoughtfully. You can genuinely tell that she loves what she does. I had such a great time during the tour. It was fun, engaging, and never felt rushed. Out of all the tours I’ve done in Colombia, this one felt the most worthwhile and well put together. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone visiting.

Superb Tour
I’ve probably taken a dozen or so free walking tours over the years. This might be the best one I’ve taken. Dio was an excellent guide. He did a great job of explaining the sights and the history of Medellin. It was a great use of time. Highly recommended.

Duidelijk verhaal over de geschiedenis hoe de coca plant in Colombia terecht gekomen is en hoe een Duitse algemist ontdekte dat er met een chemisch proces een opwekkend middel kom ontstaan. Er wordt ingegaan hoe de productie van cocaïne in Colombia terecht gekomen is en hoeveel slachtoffers dat gemaakt heeft. Het gaat ook over vraag en aanbod.

More Than a Tour — A Necessary Perspective
This tour felt much more like a meaningful conversation than a standard guided tour, which made it incredibly engaging. Pablo, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the subject. He encouraged us to look at the problem from many different angles and provided important context that you don’t get elsewhere. Unlike other tours that focus on Pablo Escobar in a way that feels sensationalist and even insulting to the victims, this tour was thoughtful, respectful, and genuinely educational. Highly recommended
