Had an awesome experience doing the Best of Banff tour with our guide Gio. Gio was excellent, super informative and friendly and provided great insight into the context and history of Banff and surrounding areas, information on wildlife and the Rockies in general. During our tour we saw Lake Louise where Gio took us for a small hike to the back of the lake for better views and told us awesome stories about the local wildlife and hiking/climbing/adventuring that the local area is known for. We then headed off to Moraine Lake which was the highlight of the tour and I’ve attached a photo of the view. We scaled a small rock trail to have lunch and look at the lake view which was absolutely breathtaking. Finally we headed back to Banff and Gio took us along what I believe he called “Wildlife Highway” in an attempt to spot some wildlife. During this drive things did look grim as no animals were seen until we were just about to get back on the main highway and we saw a deer which was awesome. Some notable mentions too were the brief stops at a lookout along Bow Valley Parkway and stopping at Vermillion Lakes where we saw a Bald Eagle off in the distance. All in all, the tour was excellent and has been the highlight of my trip to Canada so far. Our guide Gio was super helpful friendly and informative and showed us some fantastic sights. I Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a tour around Banff.

Both times, the guide was very nice, friendly, open, funny, and entertaining. On the evening tour, we saw geese, deer, and a grizzly bear. The grizzly was definitely the highlight. The next day, on the tour to the lakes (and also the evening before), I learned a lot about the Rockies, the mountains, the people, and everything else worth telling or knowing. Beide mal war der Guide (bzw sie) sehr nett, freundlich, offen, lustig, unterhaltsam. Bei der Abendtour haben wir Gänse, Hirsche und einen Grizzly gesehen. Der Grizzly war natürlich das absolute Highlight. Am nächsten Tag bei der Tour zu den Seen (aber auch am Abend davor) habe ich viel über die Rockies gelernt, über die Berge, die Menschen und alles was Erzählens oder wissenswert war. Went on the wildlife evening tour with Gio as the tour guide. The tour was fantastic! Gio was knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, and kept us all interested and entertained. We had 7 people in our group, which was the perfect number. We saw great wildlife. Gio and this tour was so impressive we booked the early morning tour per his recommendation! ETA: Went on our second excursion through Radventures. This time it was the early morning tour. Tess was our guide and she was fantastic!! Knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, and incredibly kind. It’s a 7 hour tour that starts at 4am, in order to see the sunrise. You will take a 20-30 “breakfast” break in Lake Louise village, I recommend skipping the option to purchase breakfast while booking your ticket and getting a separate breakfast at Laggins. Both of our tour guides truly made this a great experience!!!

This tour was awesome! We took the evening wildlife tour with Gio and had a blast! Gio was very knowledgeable and had a lot of great stories and cool facts to point out about the surrounding area as well as the wildlife. Despite the weather not being the best, we still saw sheep and elk which was really cool. I loved that our tour was in one of the 15 passenger vans as opposed to the large tour buses. It made for a very personal experience and we got to talk to Gio and ask him any questions that popped up. I highly recommend taking this tour especially with Gio! You will get to see wildlife as well as some really cool viewpoints. Edited to add second tour: We also decided to do the early morning Lake Louise and Moraine Lake tour. We had a great time and got to watch the sunrise from Moraine Lake! Tess was our guide and she was great! Very informative! Even though it was a very early morning, it was worth it to get to see the lakes in a different light!

Radventures provided us with a terrific experience during our time in the Banff area. We were a larger group so we had Gio and Tyler guiding us during our stay. They were extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and kept us entertained the entire way! Their flexibility and ability to pivot to our style of trip was spot on. Would recommend them to anyone that is planning a visit to the area.

The Best of Banff tour was such a great experience! They picked/dropped us off in downtown Banff. We had a great amount of time at each lake, 1.5 - 2.5 hours! Our guide was great at telling us all of our options at each lake. Very friendly staff and well maintained van. Having a tour meant accessing Moriane Lake was so much easier than if we had to take a shuttle. Also, the picnic lunch they offered was a great add on.

Throughly enjoyed this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area, wildlife, and ecosystem. We got to see some Elk up close but missed out on seeing any Bear or Sheep. We did get the opportunity to stop at several locations and take pictures.

Tess was a very fun guide and we had a blast seeing all the sights around Banff, and were fortunate enough to see a herd of elk whilst all the babies were having dinner 🥰

We had an amazing weekend with the best tour guides. Gio and Tyler were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, competent, funny, and flexible. They told many stories and gave a ton of information on our drives we would never had know! They made the experience rich and memorable! Thank you!

We had such an amazing time with Radventures! Our guide Gio was amazing for the three days we were with him! He was prompt, personable and super knowledgeable! He instantly became a member of our group! We were also joined by Tyler for our last two days. Tyler was a wealth of knowledge as well! I would highly recommend Radventures and both Gio and Tyler!

Gio was our guide for 3 days. He made the experience amazing speaking about his knowledge of the parks and incorporating that with his own experiences. The shuttle rides were never quiet and he made the rides go by faster. You can tell he truly loves all of what the national parks have to offer and what he does. Gio’s vibe is off the charts. Definitely recommend him!!

I booked the early bird adventure to see the sunrise at Moraine Lake, although the weather was bad, our tour guide, Mitch, was enthusiastic and lifted our spirits. Having a hot drink at Moraine Lake is definitely a nice touch. The stop at Trailhead Cafe is certainly a welcome sight. Overall, I enjoyed this tour and I would do so again. What I would like to suggest to Radventures is to have the Moraine Lake stop to be 2 - 2.5 hours rather than only an hour and a half since most people are really only interested in seeing the sunrise at Moraine Lake. This is evident by some passengers opting to leave at the Trailhead Cafe stop.

We rented a camper van for two weeks and had the absolute best time, the van didn’t skip a beat and it was put through it’s paces, up and down the Rockies, north to south on Vancouver island and was solid the whole way. The bed was super comfy, everything worked as it should and communication was great. If you’re thinking of a trip then please look no further! If I could give more stars I would!

The best way to see the Icefields Parkway sights if you are not able to rent a car. Highly recommended.
