My first snorkeling experience. The crew was phenomenal and very helpful. We saw so many fish and turtles. The ship is new and has all the necessary amenities and luxuries. Can’t wait to go again.

We had our very first trip on the Pride of Maui 33 years ago, which was our first family vacation. 33 years later and my sister and I went aboard the Pride of Maui in memory of our mother who passed in April 2025. The entire crew was wonderful and the GM went out of her way to make a space for me to spread the remaining flowers from my mother's ash scattering ceremony into the ocean as we were heading back to the harbor. I am forever grateful for their kindness, always the most wonderful water experience, and the aloha that is felt both entering and exiting the boat. Thank you again and we will see you next March/April to commemorate our 1 year post ceremony. A hui hou!!

We booked a snorkel trip to Molokini Crater and Turtle Town, but on the day of the tour we boarded and were immediately told it was too windy to go to either place. Instead, we were taken to Coral Gardens, which is not what we paid for. My main problem with this company is that they should have given us options by letting us know in advance and I would have changed my tour to a later date, as we were here another 5 days. Additionally, I called a week before, post heavy rain storm, and they said everything would be fine and they’d let me know if something changed…BUT THEY DIDN’T. They knew as we were boarding that they wouldn’t be taking us to the crater, but they chose not to disclose this until everyone was boarded and they were pushing off the dock. We spent $752 for a family of four to see a couple of fish and a turtle at coral gardens when we actually paid for the crater and turtle town, big disappointment and no discounts or apologies were provided. Save your money and snorkel off the beach!

We had an excellent afternoon aboard the Pride of Maui. The crew was respectful and knowledgeable. We saw whales and dolphins, and everyone enjoyed the snorkeling and felt very safe.

Our family had an amazing time on the Pride of Maui for 3 hours of whale watching and snorkeling. We saw no less than 7 whales and 2 dolphins, which was amazing luck. Our captain had all sorts of fun-facts about the whales and different types of dolphins and how they interact. He even stopped the boat and dropped a mic in the water so we could hear the whales communicating with each other - super cool. We didn't get any major breeches from the whales, but it was still awesome. When it came to snorkeling, we were not able to go to molokini due to the rough water, but they picked a spot close to shore and we were able to see all sorts of fish and coral. We even had a sea turtle swim through, and were able to slowly follow it from above for 75 feet or so. I never would have thought we'd get to see a sea turtle in its natural underwater habitat like that - it was amazing. The food and drinks were pretty good for what they were. Burgers, hot dogs, and a grilled chicken sandwich. If you're the type of person who's just looking for an excuse to drink, this is not the tour for you. They didn't open the bar until 2/3 or more of the way through, but had water, soda, and a signature non-alcoholic fruit drink available from the start. I don't personally care about the availability of alcohol, but know plenty of people do. Overall, really great time and would definitely recommend.

From start to finish, the staff was amazing, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The boat itself was impressive—clearly new, impeccably clean, and remarkably fast and smooth on the water. We felt the utmost confidence in our captain, whose primary focus was clearly our safety. He carefully monitored the weather conditions to ensure we had the best possible snorkeling adventure while keeping everyone secure. As if the snorkeling wasn't enough, the captain took us out to see the whales, which ended up being the absolute highlight of the trip! It was a breathtaking experience—we were close enough to actually feel the spray of their breath. Throughout the journey, the crew kept everyone happy, serving up refreshing drinks and cooking a fantastic lunch. It’s clear this team doesn't cut any corners; every detail was handled with care. This was a special day for our family that has now become a forever memory. Mahalo to the entire crew for an unforgettable experience!

First time being in Hawaii and booked this excursion. Mind you, I used to be a lifeguard and have always swam growing up. Love the water and this experience was amazing! From the catering provided to us to two stops we made to snorkel and to lastly the amazing staff onboard. Just a truly amazing experience. Everything was very organized. Would recommend Pride of Maui anytime.

My husband and I had a PHENOMENAL time with Pride of Maui for our snorkeling excursion! It was hands down our favorite thing we did in Maui. The experience was incredible (we even got to see a Manta Ray- which is rare!!) but it was incredible to see the coral reefs with the countless fish, sea turtles, and coral. We went during whale season which I highly recommend because you can not only see them while you’re cruising in the boat but also you can hear their symphonies underwater! The whole crew & the captain were phenomenal and Tiffany is a legit whale dictionary - she knows every fact about whales (we actually learned more about whales on this than our whale watching). The food was also amazing! I can’t recommend this company enough! 10000/10 stars 🌺🤍

My girlfriend and I did the Molokini and Turtle Town snorkel excursion, and it was an incredible experience. The crew was fantastic, the boat was spotless with great amenities, and the snorkel gear was clean and in excellent condition. Everything felt very well organized and professional. This excursion is an absolute must-do when visiting Maui!

Yesterday we did the snorkeling tour. First time ever going. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. The one staff member spent extra time with me helping me get set up. He didn’t make me feel weird for never doing it before and was so patient with me. His extra help made the experience even more enjoyable. Food was good as well as the after snorkeling drinks. I would highly recommend them. And you must go off the slide at least once!!

Great host and very helpful staff. Its worth every penny you spend with them. We saw a good amount of whales. Their snorkeling equipment is good too and they give you flippers and snorkeling masks. My wife is pregnant and she loved it as well. The boats are big enough to not feel that much waves and sea sickness. I would strongly recommend them for the whale watching and snorkeling.

We went on the Whale watch and snorkel tour and it was amazing!!! Tons of whale sightings, and the crew was just amazing. They did a great job accommodating everyone and made sure we had a great time.

We had a great experience! We booked with Pride of Maui in February. We were greeted promptly upon arrival. The breakfast was a nice start to the day. We snorkeled at the Molokini Crater. They gave us plenty of time in the water to enjoy the reef and fish. We had lunch before heading to Turtle Town. The lunch was excellent. Hot off the grill burgers. Better than we expected on this type of tour. Turtle Town was great, many turtles, my wife who did not snorkel, saw them right from the boat. This tour was during the whale watching time, and we saw many whales.The captain was awesome as he slowed the trip down so we could enjoy the whales. He was very knowledgeable and shared information about the whales. This was so impressive to our group, we ended up canceling our whale watching on the big island! The open bar was a great way to finish the day. Ice cold beverages! Throughout the tour the staff was interactive, fun and friendly. We 100% recommend this tour.

The crew on the Pride of Maui ‘Elua prioritizes the guest experience, and it shows. They made sure we were outfitted with the proper gear (the wetsuits were great in keeping us warm in the cooler water), and their detailed explanations had us feeling safe about the entire experience. Caden, Sienna, and team even extended our journey back to the harbor when several humpback whales unexpectedly put on a show for us. Thank you for a memorable trip!
