We did enjoy our visit to the PCC but unfortunately I have not received my biggest memory, the digital photo taken at the center. I was never offered the photo at the event and the QR code given to me to access the photo is not loading. We visited the PCC over 2 weeks ago. Very disappointing as this was a very special family event that I don’t have any memories of.

Schon beim Betreten spürt man die besondere Atmosphäre: herzlich, authentisch und voller Aloha. Die verschiedenen Dörfer geben einen faszinierenden Einblick in die Kulturen Polynesiens – von Hawaii über Samoa und Tonga bis nach Tahiti, Fidschi und Aotearoa. Besonders schön ist, dass man nicht nur zuschaut, sondern vieles interaktiv erleben kann: Tänze, Musik, traditionelle Handwerkskunst, Geschichten und Bräuche werden mit viel Leidenschaft vermittelt. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich, engagiert und stolz darauf, ihre Kultur zu teilen. Man merkt, dass hier nicht einfach nur eine Show geboten wird, sondern echtes Wissen, Respekt und Begeisterung dahinterstehen. Die Vorführungen sind abwechslungsreich, liebevoll gestaltet und sowohl für Erwachsene als auch für Kinder spannend. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die Abendshow – emotional, kraftvoll und visuell wunderschön. Die Tänze, Kostüme, Musik und Feuerelemente sind beeindruckend inszeniert und bleiben lange in Erinnerung. Auch das Essen und die gesamte Organisation waren sehr gut, sodass der Besuch rundum angenehm und unvergesslich war. Wer Hawaii besucht, sollte sich das Polynesische Kulturzentrum auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Es ist nicht nur unterhaltsam, sondern auch lehrreich, berührend und eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, die Vielfalt und Schönheit der polynesischen Kulturen kennenzulernen. Ein wirklich einzigartiger Ort voller Herzlichkeit, Geschichte und Aloha – absolut empfehlenswert!
Our visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center was one of the absolute highlights of our Hawaii trip. We booked the **Ambassador Package**, and it was worth every single cent. It is perfectly organized and gives you a true "VIP feeling" with reserved prime seating throughout the day. What we loved: The Personal Guide: Our guide Nio was outstanding. As a student from Tonga, he provided deep, authentic, and personal insights into the culture. The Gateway Buffet: An excellent dining experience that serves as a beautiful homage to the Queen, accompanied by a great live show. The food quality and service were top-tier. The Show "Hā: Breath of Life": A world-class production. The storytelling, the scenography, and the emotional depth of the life-cycle story moved me to tears. The fire-knife finale is breathtaking. Practical Tips: Location & Traffic: From Waikiki, it’s about a 1-hour drive. We combined it with a visit to the Dole Plantation and the North Shore in the morning, which worked perfectly. Parking: There is plenty of free parking available. At the end of the day, staff even coordinate the traffic to ensure everyone gets out quickly and smoothly. It’s also wonderful to know that the proceeds support the education of the students working there, who bring their knowledge back to their home countries. Conclusion: Definitely go for the Ambassador Package if you want a stress-free, premium experience with the best views!

An unforgettable experience with authentic heart! The entire experience at PCC was fantastic. I love the concept of the park being run by students—it adds such a genuine, friendly energy to the atmosphere. Everyone we met was true to nature and incredibly welcoming. The layout and setup are well-done, though I think adding even more interactive activities in the future would be a plus! One of the best perks is that your ticket allows you to revisit the villages for three days. The Aloha Luau was a highlight with delicious food and excellent service, and the "Hā: Breath of Life" show at the end was simply breathtaking. Special shoutout to the Samoa village and Kap—that was easily the most fun I had all day! It felt like a professional stand-up comedy show while being educational. Highly recommend!
