My husband and I absolutely loved experiencing the whole Alii Luau package. Our tour guide Juju was amazing and we got to learn and see so much of the various polynesian cultures. The food, the service, the experience from the tour, the Luau and the Breath of Life show was AMAZING. All the staff throughout our visit was so kind, attentive, warm, welcoming and they made us feel so appreciated and loved. We definitely recommend this to everyone! The hard work, the passion and the warmth definitely shows in each individual who works or volunteers at the center. One of a kind experience!

We had a wonderful experience. We purchased the super ambassador package. Andre was our guide and he was warm, knowledgeable, and considerate of all our needs. All of the student/workers at the PCC were outstanding. We also give a shout out to Andarsh, who guided our canoe ride! Everyone and everything was top-notch. PS, the luau was some of the best food we've ever eaten. The pineapple smoothie is Scrumptious.

Contrary to my expectations, it proved to be a worthwhile learning experience and not an American theme park. Not every island is equally well animated, it comes down to the people running them. However, for those interested in finding out about cultures on top of having a good time, this is the place to go. We chose not to take the dinner option and were super happy to get a poke bowl in the market area instead and then still had time to check out the beach across the street before the show.

Geschmacksache... 6 Stationen präsentieren ihre Insel in Form von Musik und Tanz. Tonga war lustig. Tahiti bieten schönen Tanz. Das Abendbufet war sehr umfangreich und sehr gut. Die Abendshow war okay und eine Wiederholung und Erzählung der Inselvorstellungen. Unterhaltsam bis langgezogen...

There were quite a few entertaining shows, with some interesting lesson opportunities. We spent 3 hours here, but can definitely spend more. It was not super crowded and the staff were widely available and super helpful.

폴리네시안 문화센터(PCC)는 태평양의 다채로운 문화를 한곳에서 만날 수 있는 매우 특별한 장소였습니다. 드넓은 부지에 폴리네시아의 여러 섬들을 재현한 마을들이 조성되어 있었고 각 마을마다 고유한 전통과 문화를 체험하며 마치 실제로 각 섬을 여행하는 듯한 기분을 느낄 수 있었습니다. 특히 아이들과 함께 카누 타기나 불 피우기 같은 활동에 직접 참여하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 전체적으로 시설이 깨끗하게 잘 관리되어 있었고 직원들도 매우 친절했습니다. 덕분에 불편함 없이 여유롭게 관람할 수 있었습니다. 또한 아름다운 자연경관과 전통 건축물이 어우러진 곳곳이 멋진 포토 스팟이 되어 여행의 추억을 사진으로 풍성하게 남길 수 있었습니다. 오아후 여행의 완벽한 동반자 쿤 가이드님! 쿤가이드님 날짜마감이라 어쩔수없이 쿤가이드님셀프 투어를 했는데 덕분에 넓은 부지를 효율적으로 둘러보며 주요 볼거리를 놓치지 않을 수 있었습니다. 셀프 투어를 하게 되었지만 배타고 갈 때 한국인만 태우고 가더라고요. 그때 우연히 같이 탔는데 잠깐 쿤 가이드님을 만나는 정말 특별한 행운을 얻었습니다. 마치 TV에서만 보던 연예인을 직접 만난 것처럼 가슴이 설레고 즐거운 순간이었어요. 쿤 가이드님은 정말 타고난 이야기꾼이셨습니다. 단순히 정보를 전달하는 것을 넘어 위트 넘치는 유머와 재치 있는 입담으로 모두를 웃게 만드셨죠. 덕분에 지루할 틈이 전혀 없었고 귀에 쏙쏙 들어오는 설명들로 가득 찬 시간이었습니다. 힘든 기색 하나 없이 더운 날씨에도 늘 밝은 미소와 긍정적인 에너지를 잃지 않으시는 모습은 진심으로 감동적이었어요. 함께 일하시는 다른 가이드분들이 진심으로 부러울 정도였습니다. 여행객들을 진심으로 생각하고 배려하는 마음이 느껴져 더욱 감사했어요. 저도 같이 쿤가이드님과 오늘 하루 함께 했음 좋겠다 싶더라고요. 같이 투어신청 하셔서 가시는 분들이 너무 부러웠어요. 아이있음 체험이라도 하는데 어른분끼리가면 더더 쿤가이드님 아니더라도 학생 가이드라도 꼭 신청하세요. 전 셀프자료투어로 아이들과 체험위주로 했지만 가이드가 없어서 너무 아쉬웠고 배경지식 아예 없으면 설명해주는 사람도 없고 그냥 쓰윽 훓고 집가기 좋겠더라고요..(완전 돈아깝..) 쿤 가이드님도 직접봤고 셀프자료로 투어하고 더 특별하고 행복한 추억으로 남았습니다. 하이라이트였던 '하 쇼(Ha: Breath of Life)'는 기대 이상으로 웅장했습니다. 불 쇼와 화려한 춤이 어우러진 공연은 관객들의 눈길을 사로잡았고 사이드 좌석에 앉았는데도 배우들의 동선이 좋아 오히려 더 가까이서 그들의 역동적인 에너지를 느낄 수 있었습니다. 공연의 재미와 규모에 매우 만족했습니다. 하지만 아쉬웠던 점들도 있었습니다. 오후에만 문을 열어 충분히 모든 것을 둘러보기에는 시간이 너무 빠듯했습니다. 투어하는 중간에 아이들이 편의점에서 쉐이브 아이스 사달래서 먹었는데요. 3가지색 선택하라더라고요. 불량식품 맛일줄 알았는데 오오.. 의외로 맛있더라고요. 저희는 일정끝내고 쿤가이드님이 추천하신 곳에서 제육 볶음과 갈비를 먹고 화장실 갔다오니 하쇼 할 시간이더라고요. 시간 배분 잘하세요. 입장료가 저렴하지 않은 만큼 조금 더 일찍 오픈해서 여유롭게 즐길 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 또한 넓은 부지에 비해 그늘이나 쉴 의자가 부족해 더운 날씨에 잠시 쉬어가기가 어려웠습니다. 특히 배경 설명을 들을 한국인 가이드가 많지 않아 눈으로만 보고 지나친 부분이 많아 아쉬웠습니다. 하 쇼 역시 규모와 재미는 훌륭했지만 다소 길게 느껴지는 부분이 있었습니다. 어린아이들은 물론이고 어른들도 후반부로 갈수록 지루해하는 모습이 보였습니다. 쇼의 길이를 조금 줄이거나 구성에 변화를 주면 더 좋지 않을까 생각했습니다. 대체적으로 아이들이 많이 졸더라고요. 마지막으로 사진 촬영을 할 때 줄을 서는 질서가 잘 지켜지지 않아 아쉬웠습니다. 모두가 즐거운 추억을 남기기 위해서는 기본적인 에티켓을 지키는 노력이 필요해 보였습니다. 전반적으로 즐거운 추억을 만들 수 있었지만 몇몇 아쉬운 점들이 개선된다면 더욱 완벽한 곳이 될 것입니다.

하와이 가기 전 PCC를 계획하였으나 쿤 가이드 님 투어는 시간이 안맞아 신청을 못했고, 대신 셀프투어 가이드를 신청해서 다녀왔습니다. 보내주신 동선과 봐야할 포인트들에 대해서 공부를 하고, 더불어 보내주신 동영상도 보면서 열심히 공부를 하고 PCC를 갔습니다. 카누를 타고 타히티 부터 돌아 보고, 또 추천 액티비티들도 하나하나 아이들과 체험을 했습니다. 아이들이 액티비티 하나하나를 너무 재미있어 해서 생각보다 시간이 금방 지나갔어요 결론적으로 셀프투어 자료 보내주신 덕분에 PCC를 알차게 돌아볼 수 있었고, HA쇼도 잘 보았습니다 감사합니다^^

Can’t leave Oahu without visiting the PCC! Amazing experience! Took the super ambassador tickets and it was so worth it! The guide takes you around the center and you don’t have to worry about the time and how to get there! We had front seats to all of the shows!
