This place is like a cultural Disneyland. All the staff members are extremely friendly. We enjoyed our day here with the activities and performances. Never seen anything like The breath of fire show. No trip to Hawaii is complete without a visit to PCC.

The Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) was an unforgettable experience. Everyone I knew who had visited Hawai'i’ recommended it as a must-do. If you plan to visit PCC, prepare to spend a full day there. We arrived around 12 P.M. and left around 8:45 P.M. We started our day with a meal in the marketplace before embarking on a guided tour of the six island villages: Tonga, Tahiiti, Samoa, Fiji, Aotearoa, and Hawai’i. Each village had its own island presentation and hands-on activities. The village of Aotearoa was our favorite, with its captivating presentation and interactive games. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and our tour guide, but we regretted that we didn’t have time to visit all of the villages. After our tour, we attended a Lū’au. Upon entering, we were greeted with a complimentary flower lei and piña colada, which included a souvenir straw to keep. The piña colada was so delicious and refreshing. The Lū’au featured live entertainment and a delicious traditional Hawaiian meal. The Polynesian buffet had an extensive menu, but we found the food a bit too salty for our taste. After the Lū’au, we headed to the Pacific Theater to experience the Hā: Breath of Life show, which showcased the six island villages through the saga of birth and death, love and family, tragedy and triumph. The show beautifully concluded our day. With our pass, we had the opportunity to visit the PCC three more days, but unfortunately, we couldn’t take advantage of it due to other planned activities. If you’re visiting, make sure to add this experience to your itinerary! It’s an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the Polynesian culture, and gain insight of their practices and traditions.
