One of the best “tourist” experiences I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. The performers are so beautiful it made me cry. Everything is so organized, clean, well kept, gorgeous and full of joy and life. Our tour guide, Mia, was excellent. She was so friendly and knowledgeable about everything. The dinner was absolutely spectacular!!! A buffet where everything is high quality and delicious. I came with no expectations and didn’t really know what was here. And I was so blown away. Highly recommend!!

The Polynesian Cultural Center was so much better than I expected! The experience genuinely deepened my existing pride in my culture, and it made me so happy to see our Polynesian traditions being shared so beautifully with the world. The staff, performances, and village experiences were all authentic, welcoming, and full of heart. I’m grateful for the work they’re doing to preserve and celebrate our heritage. Keep up the amazing work! Ofa atu ❤️

This was a beautiful and expansive and experience! We could have easily spend multiple days exploring all of the cultures, activities, and shows. Most of the staff are actually from the regions and cultures that are featured in the center, proudly speaking to their cultural practices and offering valuable insight for visitors. Really loved it, and it was a great time for all of the ages in our group.

Amazing experience with our guide Nate. He showed us every island well and had a lot of information to share. He was fun and very polite. The shows are just amazing and the evening show is the highlight. The only downside is the food (beside the pig meat), that's mediocre at best.

I was able to see all the island presentations in one day, passing on the hands-on activities. My schedule is below. I followed the advice in another review which said to take the canoe ride to the end and walk back so you'll be close to dinner by the time you finish with the islands. I got the Gateway Buffet package which had a promo where the buffet dinner was free and then did the transportation add-on for total of $161.63 including taxes & fees, purchased directly from the center's web site. 1) 10:20-11:30am bus from Waikiki Ross Dress for less 2) Arrive PCC. Restroom, eat/drink in Hukilau marketplace (food trucks). I had the mango smoothie with mango chunks toppings from the fruit slushy food truck. 3) 12:15pm entry into Islands section of Park 4) 12:40-1:00 Huki canoe opening ceremony. Sat on the right side of the lagoon, underneath the big trees which blocked the sun & rain but suggest avoiding the big tree in front so it doesn't block your view. 5) Take canoe ride at Canoe Voyages Hema landing to other end of lagoon. 6) 1:30-1:50 Hawaii 7) 2:00-2:20 Tahiti: Rhythms of the islands 8) 2:30-2:50 Fiji: Derua Instrument Activity 9) 3:00-3:20 Tonga 10) 3:30-3:50 Aotearoa Maori weapon training 11) 4:00-4:20 Aotearoa Maori performing arts 12) 13) 4:30-5:00 Samoa: tree of life & fire knife demo 14) restroom 15) 5-6:30 Gateway buffet 16) 6:30-7 restroom, shopping/walking around until theater opens 17) 7:00 HA: Breath of Life theater opens 18) 7:20-8:45 HA: Breath of Life 19) 9:00-10:00pm bus back to Waikiki The best island presentations were Samoa, Tonga, and Aotearoa so don't miss those. This schedule skips: mission settlement, Hawaiian Journey theatre, La'ie village & temple visitors center tour, Rapa Nui, all hands on activities & cultural exhibits of each island.
