This place is awesome. At first you dont really know what to do. We walked into a couple of islands first and then it set in, Everything is on a schedule. We were traveling in from Waikiki and we're late and missed the begininng/opening ceremonies. But once we caught up everything made sense. I came primarily for Samoa, as it is my heritage and the firedancers did not disappoint. The Poly Football Hall of Fame was very inspirational. The shopping center was fun, the store fronts look like 3 separate stores but we found out its all one store ๐Ÿ˜† We stopped at Tita's Grill and had some delicious brisket baskets. We went on a Friday and it was pretty rainy so I'm incoming this is why it was not as crowded. Either way it left plenty of room for is to be able to stroll through the exhibits, talk to the locals and learn more about our culture.

The Polynesian Cultural Center is an unforgettable destination that offers a rich, immersive experience into the heart of Polynesian heritage. From the moment you arrive, youโ€™re welcomed into a vibrant world that celebrates the traditions, stories, and daily life of several Polynesian island cultures, including Hawaiสปi, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji, and Aotearoa (New Zealand). What makes the center truly special is how interactive and engaging it isโ€”youโ€™re not just observing history, youโ€™re participating in it. Each village is thoughtfully designed and staffed by knowledgeable cultural ambassadors who share their customs with pride and warmth. You can learn traditional games, watch skilled artisans demonstrate crafts, and hear personal stories that bring each culture to life. The canoe rides through the center add a peaceful and scenic way to travel between villages, making the experience feel both relaxing and adventurous. One of the highlights of the day is the incredible food. The island-style meals are flavorful and plentiful, giving you a chance to taste dishes inspired by Polynesian traditions. In the evening, the famous show brings everything together in a powerful performance featuring music, dance, and storytelling. The fire-knife dancing is especially breathtaking and leaves a lasting impression. Beyond entertainment, the Polynesian Cultural Center does an excellent job of promoting respect, understanding, and appreciation for diverse cultures. Itโ€™s educational without feeling like a classroom and fun without losing authenticity. Whether youโ€™re visiting with family, friends, or on your own, the Polynesian Cultural Center offers a meaningful and memorable experience that deepens your appreciation for Polynesian history and living culture.

Donโ€™t go here. Doesnโ€™t tell the actual stories of islanders. Itโ€™s been sanitized with lies when the Mormon church bought it. Locals say not to go & so do I.

My husband and I and our 4 adult children went on December 9th. We chose the Ali'i luau package. Our tour guide for us and one other couple was named Te from New Zealand. She was fantastic! She got out feedback from the amazing opening ceremony and then planned a wonderful variety of activities for us throughout the day. We saw some Tahitiin drummers, got a temporary Fijian tattoo, and played some Samoan games. One of the highlights was the fire making demonstration in Samoa by Kap. He was hilarious! My husband was crying from laughter. We went back the next open day to do and see other activities we missed. The luau food was amazing! The pineapple drink they gave us at the beginning was unbelievable! So worth it!

Villages were good, especially loved Samoan, presenters were comedic. Ha Breath of life was awesome, except I was given a corner seat where the viewing wasnt ideal, even though there were better seats available

A rich, family friendly cultural experience that showcases Polynesian history, dance, and traditions in one immersive place. The Polynesian Cultural Center in cultural attraction featuring six Polynesian island villages (Hawaiสปi, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji, and Aotearoa/New Zealand). Each village offers live demonstrations, games, music and, story telling. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Alcohol-free, which some appreciate for the family. Overall, such an interactive experience and, a great way to learn about Polynesian culture. The performances were amazing. The food at the lua was so tasty and very authentic. The fire show at night really put the cherry on top to end the night!

We went as a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 kids. We started in Samoa, then went to Aotearoa, Fiji, Hawaii, Tahiti, and lastly Tonga. The woman standing next to my son with the orange is from Tonga. She shared a lot of beautiful things about Tonga and also mentioned how she was down here as a student and working there at the Polynesian Culture Center.
