Amazing. Make time for all of the activities. We especially enjoyed the tour with Eunie, the activities in the villages and the show! LUAU was also amazing. Too hard to prioritize- just plan to do it all!!

An Unforgettable New Year’s Eve at the Polynesian Cultural Center! If you are looking for the most authentic and soul-stirring way to ring in the New Year on Oahu, look no further than the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC). We spent New Year’s Eve 2025 here, and it was, without a doubt, the highlight of our entire trip. While Waikiki has its fireworks, the PCC offers something much deeper—a true connection to the spirit of the islands. Our Guide: Andrew (The Absolute Best!) The secret ingredient to our perfect day was our guide, Andrew. From the moment we checked in, Andrew made us feel like ohana (family). His knowledge of the six different island nations—Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, and Aotearoa—was incredible. Andrew didn't just walk us from point A to point B; he told stories that brought the history to life. He knew exactly where to be for the best views of the Huki canoe pageant and navigated the 42-acre park so seamlessly that we never felt rushed. If you’re booking a guided tour, ask for Andrew! His energy and humor kept us smiling all day long. The Highlights The Villages: Each island felt like a new world. We loved the fire-making demonstration in Samoa (the funniest show on the island!) and the powerful Haka in Aotearoa. The Aliʻi Lūʻau: The food was authentic. Seeing the imu (underground oven) ceremony on the last day of the year felt like a sacred tradition. The kalua pork and fresh poi were presented in a Michelin star fashion, and the flower lei greeting made the evening feel truly special. HĀ: Breath of Life: This show is beyond Broadway-quality. On New Year’s Eve, the energy from the 100+ performers was electric. The fire-knife dancing finale was the perfect "fireworks" to end our 2025. Why NYE at PCC? While many places get overcrowded and chaotic on December 31st, the PCC felt organized, celebratory, and meaningful. It wasn’t just a party; it was a beautiful reflection on family and heritage as we looked toward 2026. Mahalo to Andrew and the entire team for making our New Year’s Eve absolutely legendary! We’ll be talking about this for years.

Never a disappointment when visiting PCC. Great experience for the family. I do suggest buying tickets before visiting. Also, Take water and snacks. Most food stands were out of food before the luau/buffet time.

Very entertaining. I loved learning about the islands and their cultures. The performers interact well with the audience. The luau was nice not great. I know it is hard to keep food warm but most of the meats were lukewarm. I loved the dressing, fried rice, glass noodles, and fish. The desserts were all amazing make sure you save room and get all of them. Maybe eat dessert first. The Breath of Life play was amazing. The dancing, the father's death scene and the fire show were outstanding.

Love this place. We did the full gateway buffet package. There is not enough time to visit all the villages so I came back second day. Samoan and Tongan villages are fun. Tahiti hip dancing is incredible. Maori presentation is aawesome. Recommend going at 1pm for the powhiri or welcome (they only do it once daily). The buffet is delicious (although we waited 30 minutes even though we came later when an email said the lines would be shortest ). Kalua pork. Huli Huli chicken. Garlic sweet chili shrimp. All the desserts with cocoa Samoa!!!!
