Very informative. Stay and attend the show in the evening. We'll worth it!

Maybe hold off before bringing kids under the age of 4. We heard from a lot of our friends and family that this was the highlight of their trip to Oahu, unfortunately for us it wasn’t. We had high expectations and purchased the Super Ambassador package which costed our family $800. Let me start off by saying my kids were on their best behaviour the entire time, I had other parents come up and comment how wonderful they were and I was very proud of them. However our guide felt the need to constantly correct them. If my 6 year old daughter went two steps ahead of her she commented on how she’s going to get lost; if my 3 year old daughter looked into the water she commented that she wasn’t going to jump and and save her; one of my daughters nervously took off her bracelet and right away she told her not to throw it now imagine this going on for our full 4 hour tour… it was painfully uncomfortable to the point that my husband walked away multiple times. She would also stop and spent what seemed like forever trying to understand my 3 year old when she would talk then look at me and say that doesn’t make any sense.. What also was frustrating is at one point our guide commented oh wow you guys finished that activity too fast I guess we will have to try and figure out something else to fill the time. We never even saw the full 6 island villages, it almost seemed like she was burdened by us and was trying to fill the time activities that took longer. She even picked the weaving activity for our family which I did say my daughters wouldn’t be able to complete since they are so young, completely disregarded what I said a proceed to get us to weave which of course my daughters couldn’t do. When we finally got to the lu’au portion we could finally start enjoying the experience a bit more because we didn’t have our guide with us And the Breath of Life show was very good but unfortunately both got shadowed from our guided tour that left a bad taste… We put in a formal complaint but still haven’t heard anything back. And if we were to ever go back I would never go on a guided tour again.
