Learning, safe and fun.

Our guide, Bo, was really good. He created a good, warm, safe and glad athmosphere. The AC on the bus was not working properly. It was too warm. But the trio felt really safe.

Perfect mix of culture, adrenaline, encounter with mother nature

I liked the whole trip. Especially the interesting visit to La Hacienda San José with its dark history, well worth remembering. Pisco tasting was more fun and tasteful than expected. The time spent on each visit was well scheduled. Our Guide Bo was very well prepared, caring, informative and friendly in a very nice way. Extremely easy to communicate with him and his colleague Aldo. I would sign up for any excursion with him again knowing he would take care if things. Huacachina sandbuggy tour was a highlight with adrenaline, laughs, beautiful sunset and a simple but nicely done ceremoni to rhe godess of sun as well as a lovely pisco sour toast. The food was ok, I liked the breakfast bread especially. I would recommend this tour to all I know. Good for a mix of experiences, as it combines history, culture and adrenaline. Nice People as well were on our tour.

Warm hospitality

I’m a French traveler living in Chile, and I took advantage of a long weekend in September 2025 to fulfill a dream: visiting the legendary Nasca Lines. I chose the 3-day Peru Hop program (Paracas, Huacachina and Nasca) and I can only say: I L O V E D it. The organization was flawless, and the buses always departed on time – which is quite amazing considering the number of groups crisscrossing at each destination. The guides were professional, friendly, and truly made the experience enjoyable. A very special mention to Elmer, my host for the 3 days. His passion, enthusiasm, and deep love for his country were truly inspiring. I could hardly believe it when he told us this was only the second group he had ever guided. He did such an outstanding job that it felt like he had been doing this for years. An unforgettable experience, full of discoveries and emotions. I highly recommend Peru Hop to anyone wanting to explore Peru in a unique and well-organized way.

Paracas y Huacachina

The trip from Lima to Paracas and Huacachina with Peru Hop was simply amazing! From the very beginning everything was well organized and the guide Elmer had such a positive energy, was fun and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the journey. So thank you so much!! Paracas was beautiful, and the boat tour to the Ballestas Islands was great. For me Huacachina was the real highlight – the desert oasis is breathtaking, and the dune buggy & sandboarding experience was pure adrenaline and so much fun! I decided spontaneously to stay a day longer in Huacachina and it was very easy to organize it with Pery Hop - it was perfect! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see a lot and get to know to great people! El viaje de Lima a Paracas y Huacachina con Peru Hop fue simplemente increíble! Desde el primer momento todo estuvo muy bien organizado y el guía Elmer tenía muchísima energía positiva, buen humor y siempre se aseguró de que todos nos sintiéramos cómodos durante todo el viaje. Entonces muchísimas gracias!! Paracas fue precioso, y el tour en bote a las Islas Ballestas fue bonito. Para mi Huacachina fue lo mejor – el oasis en medio del desierto es impresionante, y la experiencia en buggy por las dunas con sandboarding fue pura adrenalina y diversión. Decidí espontáneamente quedarme un día más en Huacachina y fue muy fácil organizarlo con Peru Hop - fue perfecto! Lo recomiendo totalmente a cualquiera que quiera ver mucho y quiera conocer a personas excelentes!

Maravilloso Tour

Me gustó la planeación , no hubo sorpresas o cosas extras que pagar, todo tal cual dijeron estaba incluido. El tour es muy bonito y divertido. Quedamos muy contentos con el tour . Angie fue una gran guía siempre estuvo al pendiente de todo .

Amazing experience!

The boat tour in Paracas was absolutely breathtaking. We saw sea lions, penguins, whales, and even a turtle up close! The buggy ride in Huacachina, followed by sandboarding, was the most thrilling part of our trip — it felt like being on a rollercoaster in the desert. We had an amazing time with Peru Hop, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Juancho. This was his first time leading a tour solo, and he nailed it! His enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of the places we visited made the experience even more memorable. Juancho also introduced us to some delicious local foods, like anticuchos, which we loved. Booking with Peru Hop was super easy and convenient, taking a lot of the stress out of planning and organizing our vacation. Highly recommend this tour, and definitely recommend Juancho as your guide!

Interesting but tiring tour

Smooth pick up in the morning and guides followed the schedule. The sites were beautiful and the guides very attentive. We enjoyed the meal recommended and there were frequent stops to toilets. The bus was also equipped with a toilet for no1. The slave tunnel was intense but really worth the visit. I did not like that we got so close to the animals in Ballestas. We really do not need to take numerous photos of walking penguins that were clearly running away from us. The life jacket on the boat had two broken straps and needs to be fixed. The drop off was painful and we felt that we were spending more time travelling or hanging around than “touring”. Miguel and Angela were great! Diana on WhatsApp was always available.

Altamente recomendable

Una aventura altamente recomendable para conocer el contraste de los paisajes peruanos y parte de su milenaria cultura… por no hablar del subidón de adrenalina que se experimenta en las dunas de Huacachina. Ángela y Nilka han sido las mejores guías, las más divertidas y las más serviciales, siempre dispuestas a ayudar y resolver tus dudas. Se nota que aman su trabajo y conocen a la perfección de lo que hablan. Muchas gracias por todo, causitas.

Great when you have a great guide

It would have had a higher rating if not for the guide and her attitude. The restaurant after the boat ride was horrendous and kept me unwell for the following g 20 hours. But then we got Niki for our trip to nazca and she was an absolute delight and actually liked people and her job which was a vast improvement. She knew about great restaurants and was genuine and so happy to honestly help us rather than the pervious one who shouted at us and herded us like children and we were all basically an unpleasant part of her trip.

Streamlined experiences through Paracas, Huacachina and Nazca

Pros: - Peru Hop handles all the scheduling which makes pick-up/drop-off and bookings easy - the hosts Angela and Nikki are both helpful and enthusiastic. I also really enjoyed the Ballestas island guide who took the extra effort so that we get to witness the Humboldt penguins. - All the tours were fantastic. The buggie rides were thrilling like roller coaster. Drivers go really fast, if you like adrenaline this is the perfect sport. Sand boarding was fun too. I accidentally dropped my bag and the driver was so sweet to go back and look for it. - the bus was very comfortable, one of them have working WiFi. All buses have reclined seats, USBA charging ports and cup holders. - WhatsApp customer support Cons: - I recommend to stay as south as possible (Barranco or Miraflores) for the latest possible pick-up time (5-6AM). Check which hotels are supported pick-up spot by Peru Hop. There was a 20 minute delay on our pick-up. - In order to be on schedule for the activités, the lunch and dinner timeframe are typically rushed (30-45 minutes break), would recommend to take to-go items.

Peru Hop - 5 Stars

Peru Hop was great. Highly recommend. They handled the logistics seamlessly and were very good in their communications. I was pleased with the comfort of the buses. We had really good guides on our trip from Lima to Cusco, especially Julio & Ana who made us feel they really cared about our experience.
