If I could give ZERO stars I absolutely would. Our driver wouldn't let us bring food on the bus for our 675 dollar (per person) picnic in the grand canyon. The only thing we needed to pass is a weight limit which the driver didnt care about at all, but mind you we waited an hour and 30 min for our helicopter ride so we starved for almost 2 hours just to find we cant go on our helicopter tour!!! I get that there are safety issues but you could have told me the helicopter isn't safe to fly before they rushed me there! 2 and a half hours WASTED because this company can't communicate well... they did refund all my money which was nice because they couldn't book me for the next day but I'm here for 3 days and they ruined my entire day! The only thing they gave me as some kind of make up for the time and money spent to get here was a measly email that I'm not sure if I'm going to use.. Thanks for a massive let down papillon really appreciate the communication! I should have booked with maverick helicopter tours!!!!

My experience with Papillon, 😡I normally do not waste my time writing a review, but we feel it is worthy to share it. 1. I booked literally 7 MONTHS in advance and paid in full. $379 per person for 4 adults and 1, 6 yr old child booked for 10-1-23 at 10am! 1. I was told we had to check in 30 min before the flight or we may lose our reservation, and we had to call-the day prior to confirm. So, ✔️✔️ completed. 2. We arrive and its packed. We checked in & were told they were running 30 min behind? While we were waiting, I saw people moving into a room to watch a video. Our check-in person NOT only failed to have us run through the safety process, she failed to tell us our pre-booked- paid for- 40/50min flight were reduced to the 20 min flight?? After we put ourselves through the safety process, we overheard people complaining about reduced time. I walked back and asked the check in people, “did you change our flight??” She began to explain the weather was not good in the north canyon, so I asked “then why did we have to pay an up charge of $75 today?” Our 45/50min flight was $379 per person PREPAID IN FULL!! I said, “Did you think to ask us if we wanted to change or cancel?” And when was she going to refund my initial order?? Yet, she collected a surcharge immediately! We waited 2 hours total with a reservation, to take a short 20min trip.😡😡😡 Of course the canyons were beautiful, and our female pilot was nice, but the rest was absolutely a bait and switch, with NO customer service care! We have taken many flights before and it was nothing this bad and disrespectful. I wish there had been a courtesy call, text, or given us an option!! We wasted 4 hours of our vacation, and the wait along with NO customer service/communication tainted something that was supposed to be a lifelong memory.

On September 20th I and other five friends waited almost an hour outside, in full sun and strong wind, without any communication by the management; after many complaints, finally we came back in the waiting room; after two hour more, the fly was cancelled, without any full explaination (Strong wind? Helicopter failure?). Very low professionality, by a Company who claim a long history!

Brought helicopter excursion to dam and canyon in cvs near hotel. They came to pickup on such old bus, we all thought that it just break into half from vibration and shake. When we come we where checked in, then random ppl from our group were invited by pilots to helicopters. Then staff invited other to group and declared that no way to get excursion today because other helicopter got some mechanical schedule. I have no options to reschedule because I have flight tomorrow. On the way back we have another bus and it still bad, noise, vibrating, and shaking. Also twice we were on high risk of accident. I recommend avoid this company because technical state of buses and aircrafts too low. And plan ahead too keep space for maneuver and pick another excursion.
