We had a 3:30 pm flight but weren't in the air until 3:48pm. Then it took 7 minutes to and 7 minutes from the canyon to travel over trees until we arrived at the rim. The total flight was 25, NOT 30 minutes, so we spent a total of 11 minutes over the canyon. Opportunities to ask the pilot questions were few and far between. I was disappointed after paying over $300! This is the 5th time I have riden in a helicopter so I'm not a novice!

Such an incredible experience! Out pilot Rafael was brilliant and gave us lots of information about Hoover Dam, the canyon and the surrounding area during the flight. The music choices were perfect during the flight and we thoroughly enjoyed the champagne picnic in the middle of the grand canyon. Fantastic photo opportunities and we flew back during sunset which was stunning 😍 would recommend papillon helicopters. Lovely gift shop and cafe as you arrive and leave and check on for our flight was easy and quick. The only negative was the bus ride from our hotel to the base, the driver was quite angry and the bus had no air con when it was 45°c outside!
