Obviously a helicopter ride is going to be expensive. It’s advertised as a 75 minute flight and 30 mins in the canyon. Sadly not quite what we received. The flight there was over the Hoover Dam and into the Canyon, then back another way. Very rushed in the canyon. You get a drop of champagne ha ha! It’s a screw top bottle and a pack of pretzels, cookie and a mini baby bell! If you want the fronts seats you get charged extra. Another $60pp. Pick up and drop off is by a Formula one driver… well he thought he was. Too fast and furious… Really have to want to do this to pay this price, it is a once in a lifetime.

I had a 3:00 PM helicopter reservation, but they told me to take the 3:40 PM ride instead. When I asked why, they had no reason. This is truly frustrating. As a tour guide who has been bringing people here for 20 years, I’ve noticed that customer service has been a mess since the management changed. In the end, we had to wait until 3:40 PM to board. Please make sure to confirm the time in the future. Time is precious for travelers. Please respect customers who pay for fly.
