My family and I (a group of five) recently took a helicopter landing tour of the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas, and it was absolutely unforgettable! The helicopter ride was thrilling, offering breathtaking views you simply can’t get any other way. Landing inside the canyon was surreal—like stepping into another world. The highlight was a picnic inside the canyon with champagne and delicious snacks. It felt so special to relax and soak in the beauty of this natural wonder with my loved ones. Our pilot, Gerald, was incredible—thoughtful, knowledgeable, and an excellent guide. His insights and professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable, and we felt completely safe throughout the journey. This tour is worth every penny for the unique perspective and memories it provides. If you’re considering it—don’t hesitate. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that you’ll never forget!

It would have been nicer if the helicopter went lower in the canyon, but I recognize safety is #1. The optional 3rd stop was disappointing because we ran out of time.

Our pilot Matt was very informative and professional. Our group included a nervous flyer who was experiencing a helicopter ride for the very first time. Matt made everyone feel very safe and comfortable. Along the way, he gave us lots of interesting facts about the area including Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. The tour was spectacular and an amazing way to see a small part of the canyon in a short afternoon trip. Flying into the canyon to the picnic area was a big bonus and an opportunity to get up close to some amazing vistas and see the Colorado river more closely, as well. I recommend this experience for everyone, including those not so comfortable with flying. We all adjusted to the ride very quickly. It was very smooth and our pilot Matt made us feel at home in his craft.
