We booked a helicopter tour with Papillon Helicopter Tours, but unfortunately we were disappointed with the experience. We paid €300 per person for a flight in a helicopter with two seats in the front and four in the back. As a photographer, I had booked this activity mainly to take photos. We were two couples seated in the back: my partner was by the window, then another man, then me, and finally his partner. Before takeoff, I asked if I could switch seats to sit next to my partner (so I could enjoy the view and take photos more easily), but I was told that the seats were assigned according to our names. After the flight, I mentioned my disappointment at the reception, and the staff there told me that this had actually been a mistake on their part. It’s a shame to pay such a high price for what could have been an amazing experience, but ended up being a bit disappointing due to the seat assignment issue. If I had been seated next to my partner, I could have fully enjoyed the flight and the views.

Our pilot Robin was BRILLIANT , from his knowledge and flying and his humour and attentiveness to us was outstanding. Thank you Robin and all the Pappion staff for making it a truly memorable day.
