A lovely afternoon visiting some of the charming villages and beautiful vineyards with our pleasant and knowledgeable guide. Really interesting to visit two different winemakers for tastings and learn about the different types of Alsatian wines.

Alsace Wine Adventure

Very well curated; very informative; and was paced so that it didn’t feel rushed, but we still made it to the wine in a timely manner (the important part!). Laurence was a fantastic host, and the two wineries that she had chosen for us - Domaine Noelle Bachert really stood out! - were wonderful. Would highly recommend this tour!

The tastings were good. 4 types of cheese at our first stop. 3 types of wine (including walnut wine) at the second stop. The wine was accompanied by fois gras, pork tenderloin cooked in duck fat and garlic, and a cheese that had a walnut wine soaked rind. The third stop was walnut cake, walnut crocante (cookies) and walnut/caramel tart. The serving sizes could be best described as morsels or bite-sized. Benoît, our guide, was pleasant but pretty low key and soft spoken. He shared adequate historical information about Sarlat and the food produced in the Périgord region. He also took the time to point out recommended restaurants. He just didn't have much pizzazz or vigor. Best described as pleasant enough, but no real sizzle.

Visite des vins d’une demi-journée en Alsace de Strasbourg

Die Verkostungen waren allesamt sehr aufschlussreich, sehr fein und hübsch präsentiert. es bestand nie ein Kaufzwang. Tourguide Benoît weiss viel und ist engagiert, ist aber in der in der Präsentation wenig fesselnd. Allenfalls diesbezügliches Coaching würden seine vorhandenen Talente eher zum Vorschein bringen.

Awesome tour and Adam our guide was really good. Communication from the tour company is so good for meeting point and time. Always stayed in contact and then made sure we happy when we had finished. A must tour if you are staying Dijon.

Luigi was a wonderful...

Luigi was a wonderful guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. We visited 3 chateaux and tasted excellent wines at all of them, 10 samples in total. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Very friendly and knowledgable guide.

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgable but there is an audio guided tour at the castle that may have provided the same information. If you are on a tight budget the self guided audio tour may be just as insightful.

Magical Alsace Experience

If I could give more stars, I would. Thierry made our day one of the most magical ever. From his interesting inside knowledge of the castle to the most exiting details of each enchanting village, our group was educated, entertained and delighted. Would love to return some day to do more tours.

Sehr gut mit kleinen Schwächen.

Trotz Regen war es eine sehr schöne Weinprobe. Der Fahrer hat kreativ das schlechte Wetter durch interessante Umwege kompensiert (z.B.: Ortsdurchfahrt Eguisheim). Die beiden Weinproben waren sehr interessant. Wir haben alle einige Flaschen gekauft. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: Es gab keine Baguette oder ähnliches zwischen den geprobten Weinen.

Our guide, Magali, was amazing! She is both knowledgeable and captivating in her recounting of the historical detail. She is also very kind and was great with our 7-year-old son. The sites and history are enough to behold in their own right, but Magali made the day really come to life.
