Enjoyable half day trip. The winery was beautiful and it was interesting learning about wine. The tasting was fun. Having a bit of free time to walk around the village was nice also.

We had a great time visiting cities and the castle in the Alsace region! Because these areas are only accessible by car, this tour was a great option. Even in February, a generally slow season, there was plenty to see and do. Our guide, Roman, was punctual and accommodating. I booked this trip instead of a similar one because it mentioned guided tours in Colmar and the Koenigsbourg castle. Though our driver told us a few things in the car on the way to these destinations, we were simply dropped off and told to return at a specific time. Not really a guided tour, but we did have an excellent time anyway.

My husband Bob and I went on a half day/4 hour tour today to visit Pointe du Hoc, the famous Cemetery, and Omaha Beach. The knowledge Matt had to share with us was endless. We wish we had booked more time with him. It gave us a different perspective than we had had before. Bob had family that participated in D Day and Matt was so interested and respectful of that. Also of the fact that my husband Bob is a Vietnam Veteran. We’ll never forget this emotional experience and hope one day to return & spend another ‘longer tour’ with Matt. Truly a day to remember.

Highly recommend this tour. Our Tour Guide, Pascal, was a wealth of information and insight to the historical events. To visit the locations and see what our troops had gone through was beyond words. Pascal explained the difficulties and battle plans at each location, and it was fascinating to see the differences between Omaha and Utah beach. We also stopped at several additional locations as time permitted. Pascal is the best tour guide we have ever had!
