Excellent way to learn more about Burgundy region and its wines

Valentin did a great job sharing the history and facts of the Burgundy region. We are much more knowledgeable about French wines and how to read the labels. The 3 wineries we visited were welcoming and very helpful. Although the tour was 8 hours, it didn’t feel like it with many stops to learn, experience and taste. The time on our own in Beaune for lunch and sightseeing was a bonus.

A good day out

While we enjoyed the day but 2 towns would have been enough. There really wasn't enough time to walk around by ourselves in Gordes and Lourmain. We enjoyed our lunch at Omma in Rousillion, recommended by our guide. The view from the terrace was beautiful too. Our guide Camille was excellent, telling us a lot of history of the area, but not too much. Out fellow passengers were interesting and we all got along. Parking was a problem at all times due to high number of cars. I'm glad we didn't do this is summer.

Great for beginners AND experts

This was an incredible experience. Our guide, Helene, was such a wealth of knowledge. It was a tour suitable for both my partner who has extensive wine knowledge and myself who has very little. The wineries we stopped at were great, with very knowledgeable hosts and delicious tastings. Highly recommend.

Niet zoals een echte grot

Wij vonden het heel teleurstellend om te horen dat we de echte grot niet ingingen. De grot is nagemaakt en dat merk je onderweg als je door een soort container van de ene “grot” naar de andere gaat. De gids was wel heel vriendelijk en sprak goed zijn talen. Wij waren toch wat teleurgesteld dat het nagemaakt was.

Very informative tour with a very friendly and knowledgeable local guide

That it is a half day tour to the three venues exactly as described. Victor was great, he knew the topic inside out and he is a local boy who grew up in the area. He also told a lot of additional tidbits about the WW2 and Bayeux. Also, he was very effective with the time reserved for this tour. We arrived back in town one minute before the estimated finishing time.

We’ve taken two tours with your company so far and both were excellent, both the experience, and also the excellent guides. We had Benoit for the all day caves, and Ann for the villages of the Dördogne. However, this webpage allowing us to review each tour is malfunctioning. First of all, when I opened it up after the first tour, the instructions were in French with no opportunity to choose English. I figured it out and filled it out in English. After today’s tour, when I clicked on the link to review the tour, it said I’ve already reviewed it, which I had not done, but I could edit my review. The review that popped up for me to edit was the review I left for Yesterdays tour.

Pasquel was very informative and spent every moment of the tour sharing interesting facts about the D-Day invasion. He is skilled in van driving and giving commentary at the same time. I regret we did not visit one of the WWII museums, but that was not included in this tour.

Carlos was affable and knowledgeable about the region and its people. We particularly enjoyed the free time in Riquewihr, where we ate local tarte flambés and looked at art glass in a gallery. Castle Koenigsbourg was enveloped in a foggy cloud, making the experience there seem even more like time travel. Would recommend the tour to anyone interested in learning more about Alsace “on the ground”.

Excellent wine tasting tour

We had a good time. Myriam was very knowledgeable. The wineries were top notch and off the beaten path. We tasted a wide selection of wines at both stops in beautiful venues. Meeting some great people from various countries was a bonus.

Wonderful Day Trip from Toulouse
