Great alsacian day tour

Have nothing negative to report. It was so nice I am considering going again during my visit in strasbourg. The guide "Jerry" really made it worthwhile. Sommelier turned history buff. What could be better in Alsace.

Alssace wine tour with Laurent

A very knowledgeable and genial guide. Laurent did sn excellent job of making everyone feel comfortable. He also provided ex elkent information on not only the wines but the history of Alsace.

Really excellent well structured wine tour, with very friendly and personable guide - Maud. She kept the group entertained and interacting. Genuinely knowledgeable and interested in wine. We lucked out getting Maud. Visited 3 vineyards. Not rushed, well timed, not too long. With generous tastings at each one. Really pleasant walking tour of the small town of St Émilion. Showing us places and things we wouldn't have come across otherwise including underground caves.

From the initial online scheduling and payment, everything was perfect! On the day of the tour, the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Victor, was gracious, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the entire D-day experience. His grasp of the facts was encyclopedic, yet he made it all very understandable and relatable. He was serious and solemn when it was called for, and light and humorous enough when appropriate to keep the entire day very enjoyable. I can’t recommend Ophorus and Victor highly enough! Thanks to all for an incredibly moving and fascinating tour!

We visited and toured two charming wineries, learned a lot about the history and wine of Alsace, and, most importantly, were able to taste plenty of wine and Crémant. Please eat a good meal beforehand or bring a baguette or similar, as only crackers are provided for the tasting. The wines surprised us and tasted delicious. All this under perfect weather conditions. Even Mother Stork paid us a visit at the Habsiger winery in Gertwiller. A very enjoyable and extremely sociable excursion; we were thrilled. Thank you so much! (Original) Ein großartiger Tag mit Laurent als freundlichem Guide, der uns auf unterhaltsame Art und Weise durch das wunderschöne Elsass gefahren hat. Wir haben zwei charmante Weingüter besucht und besichtigt, viel über die Geschichte und den Wein aus dem Elsass erfahren und vor allem viel Wein und Cremant verköstigen dürfen. Bitte vorher gut essen oder Baguette o.ä. dabei haben, es gibt zur Degustation nur Cracker. Die Weine haben uns überrascht und sehr gut geschmeckt. Das alles noch bei traumhaftem Wetter. Sogar Mutter Storch hat uns in Gertwiller auf dem Weingut Habsiger besucht. Sehr kurzweiliger und äußerst geselliger Ausflug, wir waren begeistert. Vielen Dank!

Our guide Jerome was great. He was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. He is a local and told us a little about himself which we always like. The tour was very comprehensive and it was the only way we were going to visit those three towns in one day from Strasbourg. Excellent tour.

We had an excellent trip to Utah and Omaha beaches plus a couple of other places. Maggie, Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. There were six of us in our group and then another couple, so it was a perfect size. The times at each location was just right. We would all highly recommend this tour.

Pascal was a great tour guide! Throughly enjoyed our visit to the Palace of Versailles and ride there and back from Paris was very comfortable and hassle free!

We spent a great day tour with our guide, Pascal and three other couples. He spent the day taking us to the sights and explained the history and events in great detail. His knowledge of the locations and events was much appreciated as was his presentation and personality. Ending the tour with observing the lowering of the flags at the American Cemetery was an emotional and appropriate end of the day.

Jerome was fantastic! He took us to two family owned wineries where we were able to sit down and talk to the people who actually make the wine. We learned about the region and the wines of Alsace. If you are coming to this area, this is definitely something you should do.

Trip advisor to the rescue

Nice trip. It made me want for more. Should have done a whole day but my original whole day tour was canceled and I found this trip on Trio Advisor at the last minute. Our guide Mirela was great. Drove us like a champ even in the construction zones. Not an easy task.
