Our tour guide Florence was very friendly and knowledgeable. The 2 wineries she took us to were great . The wines were amazing as was the experience of driving around the Alsace wine region. Highly recommend this tour .

Thank you Valentin for the wonderful day! The Burgundy Villages and Wine tour was exactly what we were hoping for. There were lots of wine tours offered in this region, but we wanted to also get out to see the small villages and countryside. This was the only tour we could find like it and we are so glad to have spent our day out with Valentin.

This tour was delightful, entertaining, informative, and I am so happy to have learned about the Alsatian wine country from an excellent and knowledgeable guide such as Alain. He involved everyone in the experience and we all listened to see what he had to say and what we could learn. It is difficult to explain how fantastic he was and I think the members of the trip felt the same way. We went in this trip as strangers and left feeling smarter and excited about the day we spent with the group and Alain. I would go on any tour with him. Such a wonderful adventure. None of my words can express what a day it was!!!

The itinerary is well planned and the trip is fruitful, originally I thought it will be very packed for visiting so many places in just 9 hours, yet it wasn’t, those interesting and beautiful small towns are worth visiting, each place got almost 1-1.5 hrs for touring and explore which I think it’s reasonable timing. Carlo is very informative and nice. Overall the experience of this trip is a good one

Spent the day on a Chateaux/St.Emilion tour with Mirela. She was kind, funny, super knowledgeable and extremely down to earth. She made our small group feel like family. Loved this your and the wine tastings were numerous!

We enjoyed seeing both Castles. The tour guide gave good explanations of what we were seeing. The castles are so large that the narration could have gone on for hours- we left wanting more. We did not like the van. We were sitting in the back and could not hear any of her talks. It was so frustrating. I don’t know why she didn’t have a little microphone system set up. For the cost of the tour, we felt cheated. Not at all worth what we paid.

EXCELLENT INTRODUCTION TO ALSATIAN WINE

We really enjoyed this. Small friendly group (mixed British and American) in van with friendly guide, stops at two wineries for tastings. We learned a lot about the wines of Alsace and tasted a range, and the very nice vignerons were happy for us to make small purchases of a bottle or two (we didn't have to buy cases). You get to taste wines you can't get in the UK such as muscat (dry, whatever we used to think) and klevener.

Moving, informative and fun

Our tour guide, Maggie, was brilliant! She knew so much history and was able to give us excellent insight into what happened during that fateful time. The visit to the cemetery was very moving, especially as Maggie got us there in time for Taps. Although a sad and serious tour, Maggie was able to provide light moments of fun and she was full of interesting stories, both tragic and heartening. Thank you, Maggie, for an outstanding tour and for sharing your knowledge with us!

We had a wonderful day with a small group of two couples ,us from the USA and the other from Chili . Our host had a good understanding of history and the locale, answered questions w/o being intrusive. The castle was great as well as the visits to the local villages. He was charming and. Personable. Great day together.

Our guide Ines is a charming woman with extensive knowledge of the area we visited. She is also a safe, skilled driver. We stopped at the monastery outside of St. Remy where Van Gogh spent a year of R&R. It’s an optional stop and not included in the basic tour but well worth the time. I would recommend it

Rodolphe at Ophorus is without question one of the best wine tour guides I have ever met. He was incredibly knowledgeable when it came to wine, wine making, and every little historical detail about the many chateaux and historical spots we visited. He is also an incredibly gifted people person. By the end of the tour, the nine of us - despite being strangers at 9:30 a.m. - felt like old friends. He is funny, kind, outgoing, but not intrusive. I couldn’t ask for more in a tour guide and I, along with everybody else in our group, had a wonderful time.

We had a fantastic tour with Alex! He shared so much detailed information about the history of France during our full day trip to Arles, Les Baux et Saint Rémy! He also brought us to olive oil and truffle tastings and recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch. The whole group had a great time, thanks to Alex - highly recommend!!
