Great wine tour overall...
Great wine tour overall but a lot more history about wine and less wine tasting than expected. Would’ve been nice to have had more time in the Chateau to have a glass of wine or relax and try a few more wines. Only 20-30 mins out of the entire 4 hours was wine tasting. But we learned a lot and our guide Carol was excellent and very knowledgeable. The town is gorgeous and worth seeing. Would definitely recommend the morning session to beat crowds in the village.

Excellent wine tour with Vicky. She is a brilliant, knowledgeable and entertaining guide. The wine tasting was interesting and delicious. The visit to St Emilion was great. It’s a beautiful town. I highly recommend this tour

Matt, the tour guide, was beyond amazing in his storytelling and knowledge of D-Day! I generally get bored listening to tour guides but he had me intrigued from the beginning and each story built up the anticipation. I learned so much from Matt! Very nice, clean vehicle too!

We spent a cold winter's day touring the battle sites of Normandy with our guide Matt. Matt was the perfect guide--very knowledgeable, affable and respectful. He made an 8 hour tour seem like 15 minutes. If you don't shed tears on Omaha Beach then there might be something wrong with you.

Alsace Wine 🍷
Our tour guide Florence was very friendly and knowledgeable. She told us all about the Alsace wine region and explained about all the different styles of wine and grapes . Highly recommend this tour .

It was a lot of traveling...
It was a lot of traveling from Bordeaux center for a half day. I would recommend a full day tour. Our tour guide was ok, not great. He didn’t really contribute much to the tour. It felt like he was a driver bs tour guide.

A must do when in Strasbourg!
We spent the day with Roxanne, our tour guide, and a small group of eight people. From beginning to end, Roxanne did a great job at not only providing the interesting history of the region, but as a local herself, she injected the tour with her own personal anecdotes and insights. The places you visit are stunning, and you really get bang for your buck, hitting up some truly iconic sights. A must do when in Strasbourg!

We booked our March 31st 2025 full day Medoc tour through the Ophorus website and was very easy to navigate and made the reservations with no problems. The location for meeting our tour guide was easy to find. Mirela, our guide was excellent. She was professional, pleasant and a good driver with a wealth of information about the Medoc region, the many vineyards and wine. The best piece of information was her suggestion to stop at Le Bar a Vin, after the tour, across from the meeting location. I would highly recommend Ophorus and if you can, ask for Mirela. Sante!!!
