We had a fun afternoon tour with Rodolphe yesterday. Firstly, we stopped off in a vineyard, learning about the whole process and tasting the wines, some beautiful Rose and red wines. Rodolphe then brought us to Saint Emilion on a tour of this beautiful town and gave some free time. Rodolphe was very informative and interactive but also relaxed and fun. We really enjoyed our time with him and would highly recommend this tour!

Driver Closed door in my face
I booked the Strasbourg full day wine tour for my mother’s 60th birthday this past April. We went to Strasbourg to pick up the tour and it ended up taking us a significant amount of time to find parking, this caused us to begin running late and as you would normally do we called the operator. The operator ended up calling the driver and told us the driver would wait until 9:15 for us to arrive even though the tour was meant to leave at 9. We found parking and sprinted to the arrival area where I met with the driver at exactly 9:12, the drive looked me dead in the eyes, stated “your late, and proceeded to close the van door in my face”. I begged and explained it was my mothers 60th and he didn’t have an ounce of remorse, then closed his door and drove off, the tour cost hundreds of euros, enough to go on a long weekend holiday. When I explained the situation to the operator they told me I could book an uber and meet them at the first stop, I explained this would cost another hundred or so euros and they didn’t care, said it was my fault. I explained that we didn’t want to take part in the tour after the due to the actions of the driver and they refused to even consider refunds or service credit. These are not good people, I would recommend finding another operator.

Loved our Saint Emilion wine tour with Helene. Helene was very passionate about the regions and knowledgeable about the wines. We visited small Château which was outstanding.

Fantastic experience
Roxanne our guide was wonderful. First of all she was an excellent driver and made me feel safe. Secondarily she was knowledgeable about the small villages and was able to answer a multitude of questions beyond what she had planned to share. I enjoyed the fact that there were only 8 of us and the “setting” enabled connection with the fellow tourists. My only suggestion was that I would have liked a bit more time in the second village.

Good plan, but flawed execution
Itinerary was good. Wineries were not fancy, but pleasant. Our driver, Maud, was a good guide, pleasant, knowledgeable about the region and wines. Reason for just 3 stars: the winery guide at the first winery, where we spent the majority of our time, spoke quickly, with a serious French accent, so that he was quite difficult to hear by the folks with good ears. For me, with just slightly impaired hearing, I understood almost nothing, so I eventually stopped trying, rendering his narrative useless to me.

Excellent small tour! Wonderful time with our guide. She was very knowledgeable and shared amazing stories. She timed everything perfectly. We were able to experience Retreat at the American Cemetery. What a moving experience! Definitely don’t miss this tour!

Ines was fantastic! She was so informative and lovely! I wish the two wineries were reversed as we had a bit of extra time at the end and it would have been lovely to get a glass of wine on the terrace of the first winery. But lovely day trip, views and delicious wine!

We enjoyed the personal touch and the opportunity to meet and chat with a vintner. Ilya, our driver was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable about wine and the lovely Loire Valley. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nicely paced visit and for some wine tasting and sight seeing.

MAGLI, our tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the events leading yup to and including DDay. She was friendly and responsive to all of our questions and a sense of joy in explaining it all to us. She pointed out areas that may not have been on the tour description because she went above and beyond in helping us appreciate the enormous sacrifice men gave. I would highly recommend this tour.

Trip was great- excellent guide (Alex) who imparted an extensive amount of information about art, history, architecture. Each town was beautiful and I very much enjoyed the tastings in St. Remy. I was, however, under the impression that there would have been more of a focus on Van Gogh and I was hoping for an opportunity to visit the hospital in St. Remy. All said, it was a thoroughly worthwhile experience!
