Such an enjoyable day exploring Burgundy! Adam is incredibly knowledgeable about both the region and wine making, and we were all impressed with his adept management of the tour’s practical aspects. We never felt rushed, even though we asked a lot of questions, and it was a pleasure to spend time with him in picturesque cellars and tasting rooms. The villages and vineyards are beautiful, the wine is fantastic, and the education is top-notch — don’t hesitate to book a tour with Ophorus in Burgundy.

Amelie our guide is very good, very patient.She touched all the important things and places in the area. It was just 4 of us in the group so it was comfortable travel. We were given time to walk on our own. Will definitely recommend this tour

Trip was great and loved the wineries and the wine. Also enjoyed chinon. I think compared to other wine tours we have taken with the same operator the guide didn’t do much more than drive. Also didn’t use headset so was very hard to hear her when she did speak.

We went on a half-day guided wine tasting tour with Pauline and it was excellent. As well as tasting at least 5 different wines in two cellars (one being very unique to the cellar/ area) Pauline gave us an introduction to the area surrounding Strasbourg. So interesting! If you're staying in the city for a short time it's an excellent way to taste some different wines and see some of the beautiful towns and countryside. Pauline was an excellent guide with commentary, she was very happy to answer questions and stop for photos.

We, as a family of 3 had a lovely time with Gironde (tour guide) who had a good general knowledge and enhanced the experience with his pleasant nature. Overall, I would recommend this tour to even inexperienced Bordeaux wine drinkers like myself.

The only thing that could be improved is that sometimes our guide was hard to hear. However the rooms were very crowded and noisy so it will be difficult to be heard.

Teiry was brilliant and knowledgeable. Loved his anecdotes and he made us all felt relaxed to be able to enjoy the day. Shame we didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the lake area but it was a long way between places. Baden-Baden was interesting and so different to Strasbourg. Would recommend this tour happily. Black forest cake yum!

Wine tour

The town was absolutely gorgeous, and the wine tasting was very accessible for people who don't know anything about wine, like me! Our guid, jerome, was fantastic. Charasmatic and personable.
