Fantastic day out!

Fantastic tour of Burgundy's wine regions! Our guide was very friendly, helpful and provided us with lots of information. Got to experience some amazing wines from Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits-St-Georges and Aloxe Corton, as well as a nice lunch break in the beautiful town of Beaune. Would highly recommend!

Great glimpse of D - day area in 4 hours

Vic was our guide and he was excellent - very informative and knew loads about D - day Collected 8 of us on time and revised the tour due to traffic which was helpful The tour is done at a good pace which suited us . There was enough time for each place - just need to make sure you have warm clothing as the beach was cool Definitely recommend this tour

Alsatian Wine Tastings

We visited three wineries along the Alsace Wine Route. Tasted all 7 varietals of Alsatian wines. Pauline was our guide and was great. A fun time had by all!

Very enjoyable tour

Visited parts of villages that were less touristy which was excellent but still saw all the main sites in the villages.

Fascinating!

Fascinating. The cave recreation, workshop, and English-speaking guide in the cave was fascinating snd so interesting. However, Lena, our guide for the entire tour made the trip. It was the second time we toured with her. She is great!

We had a brilliant day with Julie’s Tours! Highly recommended. The transport was very comfortable and spacious and Julie our guide/driver explained, in excellent English, what we could expect from the day before we set off. There were a total of six people on our full day trip to St Emilion - us 4 friends and 2 others and we quickly gelled as a group. Julie was a very competent driver. We visited a total of 3 different wineries with tastings - 2 before arriving in the village of St Emilion and 1 in the afternoon. We were shown around the Chateau de Sales by a charming young lady who explained about their Pommerol wines and answered our questions. Next was our personal favourite Chateau Bellevue. Julie was our guide here and she demonstrated great knowledge as she explained the wine process and took us to the limestone cellars where the wine was aging in barrels and amphora. The tastings took place in a beautiful, almost baronial style room and were very well received by us all. After a leisurely lunch in St Emilion we met up with Julie again who talked about the village before our last Chateau stop which was purely a tasting session and we discussed a new approach to keep up with changing market trends. Thank you so much Julie for a very informative and enjoyable tour.

Arthur is BEST!!!!!!! I was alone and Asian but he took care of me very well. He kept try to communicate with me and ask many things. Also, I was impressed by his deep knowledge of the region’s history. I’m truly grateful for how Arthur kept talking to me, made me feel included, and looked after me so kindly. It meant a lot to me. I hope Arthur could read this because I didn’t get to properly tell him how grateful I was and how much I enjoyed the tour.

This was the perfect overview of D-Day and Normandy beaches for a half-day time we had. Matt was enthusiastic and informative, explaining the context of various sites. He packed 6 hours of information into a 4-hour tour. Highly recommend!

I thought I just booked a shuttle ride with Abbey tickets. We got that and Mont St Michel was awesome. The added bonus was getting a driver called Matt from Orphorus tours who entertained us there and back with funny, sad, and interesting stories covering lots of topics but particularly D Day. His knowledge was amazing and I wont forget this entertaining trip.

A great chance to visit one of the best wine regions in the world, with a charming and knowledgeable guide. We loved the various vineyards and Chateaus that we stopped by, and really enjoyed our brief visit to St. Émilion - a gorgeous spot. Would certainly recommend to anyone with a day to spend and an interest in the wines of Bordeaux.

This was the highlight of our trip! Our tour guide Valentin was so knowledgeable. You could tell he was very passionate about the subject. I learned a lot about wine in Dijon, and everything we tried was very good. I highly recommend this tour.

Although a full day tour would probably be better, if you have limited time this is a great way to see St. Emilion

Tour of Alsace

Carlos was very well-informed, communicative, engaged, and helpful with navigating the Castle tour as well as with restaurant recommendations for lunch and dinner. We saw several beautiful towns, the storks were on full display, the Castle views were certainly worth the climb, and the white asparagus is in season!
