The lovely Lena was our private guide for our visit to Rocamadour from Sarlat 2 days ago. Lena is a fluent English speaker, fun, knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient. I mention patient because we found ourselves running late for our agreed pick up time at the end of the tour. It's a poplular tourist landmark, there was a lot to photograph, and time was a little short for a relaxing coffee and crêpe at the foot of the village in the end but this wasn't a problem for Lena. She was very gracious. She also suggested some other interesting tours for us, however, sadly, it was our last day. Sarlat is at the top of my list of the prettiest french villages to visit. No doubt we will be back again to discover more of its beauty some day.

We absolutely loved this tour! Our guide Mirela was perhaps the most knowledgeable person about wine we have ever meet. On our way to St. Emilion she gave us the history of winemaking in the region and the types of chateau we would be visiting. Each chateau had a different characteristic of wine they produced and had a tasting of these at our visits. Then we went to St. Emilion that is a beautiful little medieval town where we had free time for lunch and some exploring. Overall it was a wonderful day with a pace that was perfect. We would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful day! Quite warm. The St. Emilion wine region was interesting as well as beautiful. Our guide Jerome was wonderful and kept us informed and answered all our questions even those not related to this specific region. Highly recommended.

Passeio incrível pelas vilas da Alsácia, com degustação de vinhos no caminho. Um excelente modo de conhecer alguma das vilas mais bonitas da França. Nossa guia, Myriam, foi muito simpática e nos trouxe explicações sobre a região, as vilas, os vinhos e as vinícolas. É um passeio que vale muito a pena, ficamos com a impressão que conhecemos muito bem a região (e seus vinhos!).

Normandy or bust!

My family loved getting away from Paris for the day via train to walk around picturesque Bayeaux and learn about Normandy’s WWII history. Pasquel was very knowledgeable, funny, and passionate & the people we encountered around Bayeaux were very friendly - it was a perfect day!

Our favorite tour we did...

Our favorite tour we did while in Strasbourg! The guide was super knowledgeable about both wine and the region generally. Was just expecting to be totally wine focused but she pointed out things on the drive out to the wineries and answered a lot of questions about the history of the towns and families involved which was all an added bonus. Also obviously the wine is great!

Amazing place to visit with an excellent driver,

Well organised and prompt. Valentin was an excellent driver and gave a good commentary en route to amont St Michel. There was just the right amount of time to explore the abbey and walk both there and back. Having prepaid tickets made it easier (though that maybe easy to organise online 🤷‍♀️). The abbey is well worth a visit, both architecturally interesting and has amazing views. Would be happy to use Ophorus again.

We visited the 2 most beautiful chateau from Loire Valley. Chenonceau and Chambord are really beautiful, each one different from each other. Chenonceau Is a romantic and scenic place and Chambord is impressive by its imposing size and interesting architecture. Our tour guide was A young lady, with a good English, providing enough informations and great driving skills. The car was comfortable. In few words, a nice day visiting chateau in Loire Valley.

Nice tour with small group and very knowledgable guide that provided great history in each spot and along the way. Great recommendations for lunch in Riquewihr and treats at each stop. Time to explore on your own after guided tours.
