The guide was amazing who knew everyone and was amazingly knowledgeable. She represented Italy. Boat captain kept us safe, weather got better but started out with rain & storms. The boat was covered. We only saw the Murano & Burano islands but the guide had the entire history of all the islands.we passed. The master glassblowers were working and gave us the entire process of the different methods Amazing studio and shops.Some areas you could not take pictures. The history of the glassblowers is unique. Some of the pieces with the bronze we're right there with Wyland but made with glass. Stunning.The lacemakers were the next island just beautiful. Of course, there were all sorts of things. The art & its legacy is disappearing The glassblower apprenticeship to master is roughly 15 years
