Last Sunday we had a wonderful time experiencing the Animas River in Durango Colorado with Mild to Wild Rafting. Our river guide Justin was just perfect - he was careful, funny, knowledgeable and read the group in his raft and made the morning rafting ride just perfect. Thanks to the entire Mild to Wild Rafting team for a wonderful end to our visit to Durango Colorado!!

Sam was so much fun as our river guide! We saved a person overboard, raced other rafts, pulled over so he could retrieve an oar and still beat everyone down. Splashed others and laughed so much! Perfect day and he offered suggestions with different challenges!!

What an amazing ride to some great scenery and hiking.
The ride was amazing Sam was an excellent driver and made the ride super exciting!! We ended up at the wind caves and hiked around for an hour. Very cool experience.

Rafting the Animas
We had a great time rafting the Lower Animas. The scenery was spectacular and the water was clear and refreshing. Since the water was low there were some parts that were a little slow but our wonderful guide Bodie kept us entertained with interesting history about the area, restaurant and activity recommendations and silly jokes and stories. Definitely a great way to spend a day.

Great first time rafting experience! Took a wide range of ages (4 years old to 82) and everyone had a great time. Our guide, Rob, was knowledgeable and ensured everyone had a great time but was also safe. Plan on booking another experience ASAP
