It was our first time as a family doing a river trip, and this was an awesome experience, our guide Dylan was awesome, he was great with the kids and they had a blast! Next time we on Durango, we will definitely book another trip down the river. The kids want to do something more advanced now!

Great 1/2 day trip on a 10 man raft. Our guide Seth did all the hard work. Seth pointed out the abundance of wildlife along the river. Some riders took a swim to cool off.

One of the best trips we have taken. The rapids were fun, the food was amazing, the guides (Ben, Jeff and Noah) crushed it every day. We met several wonderful people on the trip, saw amazing scenery, were challenged to be out of our comfort zone and as tired as I was coming off the river… I’m more refreshed than I have been in years. Highly recommended

Michael was an outstanding guide from start to finish! His deep knowledge of whitewater kayaking and rafting made us feel completely safe while still having an absolute blast on the river. He explained every rapid, gave great paddling tips, and was always one step ahead to keep the group moving smoothly. What made the trip even more special was Michael’s knowledge of Durango—he shared fascinating facts about the local area that added so much depth to the experience. It wasn’t just an adventure on the water, it was a full immersion into the heart of the region.

Put a multi-day trip in Cataract Canyon on your must do list!
It was the perfect combination of breathtaking scenery; exciting rapids & we made incredible lifelong memories. You need to request either Jeff Bolton or Ben Carter to be your guides, as they were skilled oarsmen, knew Cataract Canyon’s intimate details, inspired great conversations and were instrumental in making the trip a 5 Star experience. They ensured we were safe at all times, picked the best campgrounds with shade, showed us a beautiful hike and were great cooks that worked as a team to create healthy & delicious meals. Mild to Wild has dedicated chefs that selected our fresh food and previously taste tested all the meals. The boats have awnings to keep you out of the sun and hauled all our gear plus inflatable Ducky kayaks to run the smaller rapids – we had a blast! I have traveled more than most people and this was one of my favorite family experiences.

What a great ride! I was nervous this being my first rafting experience but they explained everything so well and they tell you exactly what to do. All the safety stuff! Beginning of august weather was awesome. Anna was our guide who was so great and she had lot of fun facts along the way! Definitely will do again and highly recommend to anyone even if you’re a little nervous you’ll love it at the end. Very entertaining guides! Great time!

We all had a great time, the water was really low but our guide Bode worked his butt off to get us down the river and entertained is the whole time. Great experience, highly recommend you go with these guys, plus, you'll get to ride the fun bus a once in a lifetime opportunity!
