More mild than wild - but still a lot of fun.
The Mild to Wild is really mild - but still very enjoyable. My family chose the Colorado River Tour. While it is called "white water rafting" there is very little white water, more of a lazy river. While our group was mostly 20-30-somethings and may have enjoyed something a little more adventurous- our guide, Irving, made the trip interesting with information about what we were seeing. It was also fun to see the mountains and rock formations from the river side rather than the road. We stopped and swam in the water - overall a great trip and we would do it again.

Highly recommend the 1/2 day rafting trip. You start with safety briefing then 35 min ride to dropoff point. Actual time on the water is approx. 2 hours to cover 6 mile stretch. Beautiful views of Canyon Lands National Park. Opportunity to swim at 2 locations. Our guide was Tom (Note: Notarush 0052). Tom is originally from Alaska and has been a rafting guide for 3 years. Very nice and knows the area very well. Mild to Wild also offers many other tours, but we only had one day. Enjoy! Erik_______.

Easy and convenient scheduling, very good text and e-mail communications from staff, good departure location near central Moab. Our guide Dietrich was truly outstanding ... friendly, patient, calm, full of much scientific knowledge as well as freely spoken information about the history, economy, business, and culture of the local people and their way of life. Only point for improvement: The Arches NP tour vans we a bit older, and the tint film on a couple of windows was slightly peeling and impairing the view slightly. The Arches NP tour was excellent and very much worth the cost.

Unfortunately, we couldn't drive all the way up to the plateau because a guest reported a medical issue. But all in all, it was very impressive. Leider konnten wir nicht bis ganz auf das Plateau rauffahren, da ein Gast ein medizinisches Problem bekundete. Aber alles in allem sehr beeindruckend.

Mild Raft Trip
Dylan was our guide and he was great! The river was super low. While we had a good time, I’d have preferred wilder rapids. This is prob a good beginner trip or one for people nervous about the rapids. We would use their services again.

This trip was so much fun! Art was fantastic! We saw some amazing views and learned a lot! If you want to jeep, I’d look into their Jeep and train package. We didn’t realize this was offered until later.

Our guide Miles was excellent!! Very knowledgeable. He made the experience educational and very enjoyable. Answered many questions and told us a lot about the area on the drive from Durango. Highly recommend this tour it was amazing!!

Our guide was very well informed of how to handle the raft that we were in. He was very good at explaining what we should do riding the raft down the river thru the rapids. The water was low that day but we still had a great ride.
