Stunning red rock canyon views! One of the most beautiful places I’ve rafted. Dylan was an experienced and personable guide. He held a great balance of splashy rapids and keeping everyone in the boat. He had lots of local history, and flora and fauna knowledge to share so we got an education as well. The express trip was perfect! All the rapids in the warmest part of the day.

The company is top notch, well organized and professional. My main issue was our guide. She deliberately avoided almost every rapid. I feel like her focus on avoiding flipping or having customers go for a swim really decreased the enjoyment of the trip. I know our boat was lighter but if a light boat is a problem then take a rider or two from another boat. I think she was just paranoid about flipping because she had flipped a boat the day before.

A perfect day of weather and the snow runoff made this trip exhilarating. To top it off, we had a great guide named Hayden. Highly recommend him. Just get him talking about geology and flowers and he will tell you stuff you didn't know. He also took us on some of the less traveled branches of the river that were awesome. When we went the river was at 2800cfs. Check the flow before you go for different experiences of rafting.

We had an excellent day rafting down the Salt River. Our guide, Don, was funny, knowledgeable, and an excellent teacher. We will definitely be back!!!

Excellent service from start to finish. When i booked, I was directed towards the express, premium boat which i hadn't even considered but it was perfect for my little group. And they kept in touch with me as the trip approached giving me the necessary info. The equipment was all in great shape and the instruction was informative without being boring. And our guide Wade was the best. Made sure we had a great time hitting the rapids just right. And even though the ride back required extra work from the guides and driver with having to ferry us across (and rescue another company's bus), everyone was in great spirits. Totally recommend Mild to Wild.

Fantastic for our family with kids under 11. Luis was amazing as the winds were strong the day we went but he kept us moving and we had a great time.

Just finished the 2-day rafting trip down Salt River Canyon - what an awesome family adventure! Trey & his crew were spectacular! Despite it being a bit chillier than we had hoped for, it was better than what we expected! Can't wait for our next family adventure!

Can’t recommend this company enough! Went with them on an Upper Salt River multiday trip in 2019, and it is one of my favorite AZ memories. We were supposed to go on a three day trip this year, but I came down with laryngitis and the weather called for cold rain and high water. We decided not to chance it and switched to a day trip at the last minute. Everyone was super accommodating and understanding. Sarah and Matt prepared us a great steak lunch and made our day special even in less than ideal weather. The Salt River Canyon is unlike anywhere else. We’re so lucky the San Carlos and White Mountain Apache tribes allow us access to this beautiful place. Mild to Wild offer a unique and wonderful way to experience it!

Outstanding experience all around! Our guide, Wade, was extremely personable and ensured everyone in the raft was having a blast at all times, which we certainly were!!! All other Mild to Wild folks were enthusiastic and super helpful as well, turning what I thought would be a fun day to an epic day! :) They have a return customer here. ***Communication leading up to the trip was exceptional as well, and all my questions were answered promptly and thoroughly.

We had an amazing trip on the upper salt with Sarah. The water was running unusually fast and Sarah did such a wonderful job, she kept us safe and allowed us to have a blast on the river. We are already looking forward to another trip.
