Our group of 8, 4 kids and 4 adults, enjoyed an amazing day trip to Mesa Verde. Our guide Jonathan shared extensive knowledge and was beyond patient with our group as we explored the various sites in the park. Highly recommend Mild to Wild - and especially Jonathan!

Perfect first raft for our littles who were 5,7 and 8yrs. Hannah was the greatest guide, smart and knowledgeable, and made the kids feel comfortable. The scenery along the river is absolutely amazing and it was a great start to our vacation. Would definitely recommend #Mild2WildRafting for families seeking a little adventure.

Dylan was a great guide! Super friendly and had a great handle on the river. It was just me and my younger sister, so I thought we may need to take an easier path, but Dylan guided us through very well and we got to take the most fun courses on our route. It was my (23F) second (and best) time white water rafting and my sister's (17F) first, but instructions were clear & it was easy for her to pick up. We did a 2-3 level which was good for fairly athletic beginners (if you can row a canoe and sit upright, you'll be fine). 100% would recommend and absolutely would come back again. Word to the wise - it's a good idea to rent shoes and wetsuits. The water is very cold, even at the end of June! Thanks, Dylan, for a great trip 😁

Mild2Wild-Upper Animas White Water Rafting. To go on this trip, you must pass a very strenuous test. You must be able to pull a swimmer into the raft and assist yourself in being pulled into the raft. Then, you must swim across the river through a class II rapid about 25 yards of fast-moving river. The water temp is 54° +- degrees, very cold; it takes your breath away. All 16 passed the test, and you board an old school bus to Silverton, CO. Hop aboard the Narrow Guage Train for an hour train ride to the camp. Dinner was steak, salad, and taters with blueberry cobbler for dessert. Breakfast was Eggs, pancakes, sausage, and more. Then you've donned your 5mm wetsuit, and you're off. The Upper Animas is 4.0 hours of continuous white water in class II-III Rapids with one class V and several class IVs. PURE ADRENALINE!!!

I went on a half day tour of Mesa Verde with Art. He was wonderful, knowledgeable and fun to be with. I would highly recommend taking this tour. I normally try to see areas like this on my own - but I realize now what I’ve been missing. Having a trained guide is such an asset - and as I mentioned Art was fabulous!

Took a half day jeep tour with Jonathan to La plata canyon.We had so much fun we are taking a full day trip tomorrow to Mesa Verde!

Dedric was such an incredible guide! We had the most fun celebrating Father’s Day and the Jeep ride was a blast. We had multiple creek crossings and the opportunity to go on a hike through the narrows. 10/10

We took the 3/4 of a day trip on the river with Dillion as our guide, he was amazing! He made my family and I feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the area. We loved it and will definitely do it again!

This was an incredible adventure. Our guide Emma was amazing, and very kid/family friendly. Learned a ton about the area and river as we floated. Hands down would 100% do the trip again, and now want to do the full day. It was so much fun, we will be back!
