Wonderful rafting experience for a 1/2 day on the lower animas. Our raft guide was Sam. He explained there are multiple guides named Sam, so be sure you get the Sam who has been here for 21 years and has excellent stories, jokes and a top notch handlebar mustache. He will ensure you have the best time down the lower Animas in Durango, CO. We had a big family group with ages ranging from 4 years old to 70 years old. All of us had an amazing time! Thank you Mild to Wild, we will definitely come back again and again!

I recently went on the 3/4 day rafting trip in Durango and 100% recommend it!! It was my first time rafting and I had so much fun. Sammy K. was our guide and she was great! She knew a lot of facts about the area and gave some great food recommendations as well. We all laughed the whole day. I look forward to rafting with Mild to Wild again!

This was a great trip with a good mix of riding in a comfortable van and hiking for those who wanted to do so. Darrell was professional and informative. Everyone I interacted with at the company was helpful and pleasant.

Everyone we encountered at Mild to Wild were outstanding. Seth was great with instructions and safety tips and did it professional and with humor. Tom our guide was nothing short of amazing very friendly and so knowledgeable about the river he joked and laughed with all of us on his raft. An absolutely fabulous trip down the river. The guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable. I shared the trip with my wife and our very close friends, everyone enjoyed the trip thoroughly. We did get a little wet but there was never a concern about safety. If you are looking for a trip down the Columbia River near Moab to enjoy the scenery and the bird life I would highly recommend Mild to Wild!

Arches spectacular !!
We went on a Sunday and were lucky to see it was only the two of us. Darren was extremely knowledgeable of the area and environment. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!!

This was a wonderful tour! Our guide, Tim, was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We got to experience a late season snow shower, see beautiful scenery and overall have a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Super convenient and worthwhile tour of Mesa Verde
Small group tour, only 6 of us, led by Mild To Wild guide Cat who was very informative not only about Mesa Verde but about Durango and the surrounding area and also very engaging with each of us in talking about a range of topics. We were handed off to a park ranger for the actual tour of the Cliffside Palace - he was also informative and engaging - and Cat was waiting for us after we climbed out of the dwelling. She even dropped us off a couple blocks from our hotel in downtown Durango instead of taking us back to Mild & Wild where we would have had to take the Durango tram back to our hotel. All-in-all, a very worthwhile tour.

Our guide, Alec, did a great job sharing the highlights of the canyon with us. He used humor and was very articulate as he got to know all 6 of us. The short walks to the spectacular Arches were worth every penny we spent. Alec made sure we had enough time to explore each area and helped us take pictures. A fabulous experience!

Just what we were hoping for
This was the perfect tour for us. Some in our group couldn’t do much walking, while others wanted to hike. This was just the right amount of riding and hiking to satisfy all. Darrell was a great guide, informative, professional and patient. We felt like we really got to see what the park had to offer, without the hassle of driving from one spot to another. The company, Mild to Wild, was easy to work with, friendly and responsive. Great trip
