A must do in Moab!
Our family took the 1/2 day rafting trip with our awesome guide James who was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the land and landmarks. The weather was perfect and the rapids were fun but nothing too crazy which was perfect for our first experience. I highly recommend this trip! We were able to get some great photos.

Our guide Jarod was awesome - very knowledgeable and knew where to take us. We had unexpected snow and rain that day and he made sure we didn’t miss anything due to the weather -Cliff palace is a must see!!

Last week we went on the 3/4 day white water rafting tour, and it was one of the greatest outdoor experiences we’ve had yet. Our tour guide Collin was incredible and tailored our trip to maximize our enjoyment. He told many interesting and informative stories about the river and environment as a whole. Highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy what Durango’s outdoors have to offer. We will be using MtW again.

Our tour at Mesa Verde with Jay will be unforgettable! From start to finish Jay was very knowledgeable, down to earth, and engaging. We learned so much about the cliff dwellings and the history of the region-way more than on our own! The pacing was perfect, he was training Kat, whom I know will make an excellent tour guide as well! Highly recommend this tour.

Very, very disappointed. When we arrived, there were what looked like a group of about 50 high school students with several adults. My wife and I learned that we’d be joining their group - we should have been notified of this up front. Then we were told that we were waiting for another group to arrive - this was a group of 80 additional high school aged kids! Joining a huge group of high school aged kids on the Colorado River was not what we paid for. After 40 minutes of waiting, we were so discouraged that we went back to our hotel.

Our guide, Jerry, was a FANTASTIC guide and gave us a memorable and stress free experience! My husband & I enjoyed the historical narrative provided by Jerry from the comfort of the Mild to Wild tour van. We couldn't have gained a better perspective of the Mesa Verde National Park without the services of Mild to Wild and would definitely use their services again!

Mild to Wild was fantastic. We chose a mild section of the Colorado just outside of Moab. It was both beautiful and informative. Plus Riley, our guide, saved me after I went into the water by choice and rode a short section of the rapids while swimming. Very cold but how many times does one get to ride the Colorado rapids while swimming. Fantastic day!

Had a great time doing a full day kayak on the Colorado river in Castle Canyon. Tissa was our guide and did a great job! We were the only people signed up for a full day tour so after all the half-dayers left us, Tissa and us had the whole lower Castle canyon to ourselves! It was a lot of work to finish the tour but definitely worth it. Anyone reasonably in shape can do this. We did the double kayak and it was very stable.

We had an amazing day exploring Mesa Verde NP. Jerry was very knowledgeable about the park and really anything we asked him. He was also very attentive and accommodating to the needs of his charges. We even liked his “dad” jokes. I highly recommend this tour and this guide!! You won’t be disappointed.

Our family of 4 did the rafting. Kip was a great guide! Very friendly and offered information on places we traveled on the river. He made the trip fun! We were hoping for more rapids, but the "surfing" was fun.- Dixons

We had an unforgettable trip! All the staff were great but with Gavin as our guide our family had the best experience we could wish for. He is not only a rafting guide but also a historian, biologist and standup comedian at the same time. If you're in Moab, book a trip with Mild to Wild and ask for Gavin. You can thank me later 😉
