3 days Cataract Canyon Rafting
I had an incredible rafting trip recently! Everything was great — from the time spent on the river to the camping setup and the delicious food. The entire trip was perfectly organized, making it a truly enjoyable experience. A special shoutout to our amazing guides Jeff, Payton, and Scotty, who made the adventure even more memorable with their expertise and friendly attitude. Highly recommend!

Backcountry Jeep Trip - WOW!
The journey was amazing! Our guide Jay was engaging, knowledgable, and paid special attention to each and every passenger. I don’t think I’ve seen my 5-year old grandson have so much fun. This trip exceeded my highest expectations!

Our experience with Mild to Wild in Durango, CO was nothing short of exceptional! We booked the Trails & Rails Tour, and from start to finish, it was a flawless and unforgettable adventure. For the “Rails” portion of our day, we were lucky enough to have Jay as our guide. He picked up Brett and me in Durango and drove us up to Silverton in a comfortable shuttle van. Even during the van ride, Jay was already going above and beyond—pointing out fascinating sights, sharing local stories, and taking the time to genuinely connect with each of us. There were just four of us on the tour, and Jay managed to tailor the experience perfectly to all our interests, making it feel personal and thoughtful. The scenery along the way was absolutely breathtaking. From rugged mountain passes to lush alpine meadows, every moment was visually stunning. Jay’s deep knowledge of the area’s history and geology added so much depth to the experience—this wasn’t just a sightseeing trip, it was an education in the coolest way possible. One of the highlights was stopping to crack open rocks from an old tailings pile. Not only was it a blast, but we even found actual gold—how cool is that? It felt like stepping into a piece of Colorado mining history. Jay was kind, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the entire day feel like an adventure shared with a good friend. We can’t recommend this experience (or Jay!) highly enough. If you’re heading to Durango and want something that’s fun, unique, and incredibly well-run—Mild to Wild is the way to go!

Perfect rafting experience! Annie was the best! We wanted to get our 8 year old on the water for his first experience and she was so conscious of making it work for him and include him in everything. She tailored the trip to our family needs and our son has not stopped talking about how much fun he had! Highly recommend!

Great tour of Arches National Park. Our guide/driver Darrell accomodated us all throughout the 4+ hour trip by providing information and allowing extra time to see various sites. While it took close to 40 minutes to enter the park, Darrell didn’t short change our tour time and we enjoyed over 4 hours of touring Arches and even having extra time at the end to visit the Visitors Center. Well worth the money as you need a timed entrance ticket to enter the park, which is not easy to get at a premium time.

I took the Mesa Verde Cliff Discovery Tour with tour guide Tosh in late May. The tour leading to the Cliffs was handled very well by Tosh, who was very personable and knowledgeable about the native culture, as well as the flora and fauna. The lunch that was served was good and Tosh made sure everyone was fed and comfortable. There were some issues u would like to raise: 1- change the description of the Mancos meeting location. Be more descriptive and exact about the fences and Chamber of Commerce, adding Visitor Center to description. 2- make sure the right amount of tickets are available to enter the cliffs. Other than a few minor issues, I would highly recommend the tour and a big up to tour guide Tosh. Thank you Tosh for a great time!

The half day Arches National Park tour was excellent and the perfect way to get a great overview of the park. Our guide, Chelsey, was awesome. She was able to give us so much context and history of the park, the formation/erosion of the arches, and info on the trees, plants and various rock formations. Highly recommended!

Super Guide
Our trip to Mesa Verde NP was amazing, our guide Cat was super knowledgeable about the park, vegetation, etc. We could tell she loved sharing her knowledge. We never felt rushed, took breaks when needed. We didn’t have a “Park Ranger” guide, we believe that Cat was our own “Super Guide”. Thank you to Mild to Wild for the great trip to MVNP and if you’re looking for a great guide make sure you ask for Cat. Kelly and Phil
