Fun time on morning half day rafting on the Colorado River at Moab, Utah
We had a beautiful day but a bit windy. Nevertheless, a great experience. Part of the trip was flat water, like a leisurely float trip enjoying the dramatic scenery. And part paddling through mild rapids which was a fun trip. Our guide, Noah, was great. Professional, fun to talk to. He knew his stuff. We are a little older so the half day trip was right for us. Mild to Wild seems to be a smaller company but very good.

Unforgettable Jeep Tour with the Best Guide Ever!
We had a fantastic time on our Jeep tour—Art was the most likable guide of all time! He shared so many great bits of history and local knowledge, and our conversation throughout the day was easy and enjoyable. The ride to Silverton was smooth and included a couple of scenic stops. We happened to go during the Iron Horse bike race and narrowly avoided the road closure, which actually worked in our favor—the trails were quiet and peaceful. Riding up in the open-air back of the Jeep was exhilarating, and we opted for the more sheltered ride inside on the way down. It ended up being a private tour with just me and my mom. Animas Forks was a highlight—we loved exploring the ghost town and spotting marmots and lots of birds. The views from the top were absolutely breathtaking. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d book a tour with Art again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Our guide, Miles, was great at sharing his knowledge of the Pueblos. And the views were awesome. This would be a great learning experience for families

We did a kayaking tour with Sam, who was an awesome guide. Sam coached us on how to handle the rapids (which were mild) and taught us a lot about the geology and history of the area along the way. Views were incredible, and we saw blue herons and a bald eagle. Our driver Miles was also a great source of information. I would highly recommend this activity, especially for families!

The guides are great! Very fun experience. Our guide told us about the different rock formations. She was very knowledgeable about the surrounding habitat.

Our Fun Moab Mild Jeep Tour
Our guide Devon was excellent! We wanted to experience a Jeep ride in Moab but kept it on the mild trail to the Wind Rock (which was wild enough for us!) We learned a lot of information from her along the way. I would recommend this half day trip for the experience and the views! Our family enjoyed it. (I suggest you wear a hat that has a chin strap, so it doesn't fly away!) Thank you, Devon, for your informative tour!

thrilling jeep ride with experienced, knowledgable, and personable tour guide
My daughter and I did the jeep tour with Art. We met in Durango and he drove us to Silverton for the tour. The Bike race was potentially problematic with getting there and roads being closed, but we made it in time. Note: we got to the parking lot early in morning, but didn't realize the van we would ride to Silverton in was parked so far back in the lot-so we almost missed the time window. It would be helpful for a better marked site to meet in the future. We were the first two people for the jeep tour of the season, so we had Art's undivided attention as our guide. He was so much fun and a wealth of knowledge, both with the area and even our common interests in music, traveling, wildlife, etc. We felt as if we had made a new friend! It was a perfect beginning of our day-the thrilling jeep tour, which we then took the ride back to Durango on the train! Highly recommend the tour and especially Art!

It was good but part of the 4 hour tour was taken up by waiting to enter the park. The bus could have used an intercom system so we could hear the driver.

We had a fantastic time on our 1/2 day rafting trip with Mild to Wild in Moab. Huge shoutout to our fantastic guides, Avery and Tyso — they were fun, knowledgeable, and did a great job pairing our group to make the paddle super enjoyable. The whole experience was well organized and an absolute blast from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We did the half day trip with Miles as our guide. He was super informative and shared information about the river and was inclusive of everyone even though there was a language barrier. 10/10! Will go again if I come back to Moab

We left Saturday afternoon, 4 in our family and 5 with another family, guided by Abby, Ben, and Emma. The guides were fantastic. They were knowledgeable about history, safety, geography, techniques, recipes, routes, local treasures along the river, etc. They had meals planned out for us as vegetarians and regular meat eaters as well, with appetizers and deserts and breakfasts every day of the trip. Guides were always kind and accommodating and helpful, while maintaining a vibe of excitement and fun too. Thank you, Mild to Wild! Thank you, Ben, Abby, and Emma! You all rock!

We had an amazing day with Bella our guide. Her knowledge of the area was incredible and she was happy to answer any questions we had. We never felt rushed to move onto the next site. She explained the format for the day. We started as strangers and ended as friends. We had lots of laughs and a good time was had by all. I totally recommend this tour for an in depth insight into the world of the Cliff Dwelling people of Mesa Verde.
