Wow what a great trip! Did the 3-day Cataract Canyon with Captain Scott and swamper Gavin. Guides did great job with super food, organized routes, hikes and great equipment. Highly recommend!!

1st time white water rafting. Mild to Wild in Idaho Springs, CO was a great experience! Micah was our raft captain. He did phenomenal in keeping us safe and making sure we all had fun. Completed the intermediate trip and look forward to my next one!

We did the half day rafting trip in Durango and it was awesome. Our 6 year old son loved it and thought it was the best part of our vacation. Our guide Jaden was a wonderful river guide, and was great with kids and gave us lots of recommendations for other family activities in town.

Breanna was a wonderful guide & driver! Our toddler was able to sit inside the cab, and our older girls loved the rear (bumpier!) ride! The views were incredible—once in a lifetime experience. The wind caves were such a hit with the kids—and very cool for the adults to see/climb around on as well. Breanna was very accommodating to all our needs and came prepared with a stocked cooler to keep hydrated. She was patient with our kids and answered all of our questions. Thank you for a memorable trip!

Great experience start to finish. We purchased tickets online. Upon arrival, checkin process was fast & efficient followed by PFE & safety briefing. Our tour guide, Dylan, created an exciting fun engaging event for our boat participants. Easy on/off raft. Bus driver David added to the event ambiance before & after our outing, too!

Cataract Canyon Rafting 3 days 2 nights
Cataract Canyon rafting trip, 3 days 2 nights with my 2 friends. 7 other passengers and a crew of 3. The lead guide, Scotty and his crew Payton and Gavin, were exceptional in so many ways; knowledgeable, skilled, accommodating, fun, and passionate about their jobs on the Colorado River! River flow was 20,000 cfs and the rapids were crazy fun!! Excellent meals and lots of snacks, beautiful scenery and campsites with campfires each night. I have gained an appreciation for the hardworking people who provide safe and fun experiences on the Colorado and a deeper understanding of this great resource that should be treasured!

Great adventure on the Animas
Great experience. Bailey was such a cool guide, she was fun and interesting and kept us engaged the whole time. Great to watch all the rafts go down the river and take part in trying to keep the raft off the rocks. We highly recommend this.

I recently (06/2025) got back from an amazing multi-night trip down the Yampa River through Dinosaur National Monument! All of the guides: Brandon- trip leader, Levi- innate connection to the river, Ryan- spiritually in tune, Josie- super sweet, Caleb- endless fun facts, and Ben- best costume dresser were phenomenal! The guides' relaxed personalities really made the trip memorable and fun! Even when accidental swimmers were flailing around, the guides were so calm just plucking us from the water and went about their way as if nothing happened- this is exactly the reaction I needed!! It gave me the courage to hop back in the duckie after swimming a not-so-fun rapid! From the start, Mild2Wild made sure everything was a great fit for me (solo traveler) as I really wanted to kayak the whole 72 miles and then couldn’t decide between Gates of Lodore vs. Yampa. They steered me towards Yampa and I have no regrets! I paid extra to rent my own duckie for the whole trip, which was worth every penny and I was able to kayak ~70 miles of it! (Minus jumping into the group raft ~2 miles before the crazy Class IV Warm Springs Rapid and minus another 0.25 miles swimming Moonshine Rapid!) The optional hikes between camps and in-camp were amazing! The food was delicious and satisfying! A side note, that doesn’t always pan out and has nothing to do with the company, but this group’s dynamics were amazing! I felt like I was a mini part of almost every family/group! Thank you all for a safe and memorable time! P.S. I also did a fun duckie day trip on the Moab Daily this past spring break (during the Moab blackout)!
